In my senior year of high school I took the ASVAB just to see what I could get and so I had a back up just incase thing didn't work out with college. I ended up getting a 77 which is a really good score. I dropped out of college and wasn't sure waht I wanted to do until I decided on joinging the Army like my hubby did.
Last spring I started working out and doing all the paper work but I had some medical conditions from when I was a toddler that left two scars on my stomach so I had to get all the papers from the hospital about it and well basically b/c of the scars my recruiter was having trouble getting me in.
It got down to him saying well you can't join at Fort Dix (which is closest to my home) b/c they aren't accepting this stuff so we have to take you out to Harrisburg and even at that they still may not accept you
I hadn't worked in 2 months and I finally said just forget it then since it doesnt' look like it's goign to happen and I need to pay my bills because I should've left by now
SO now I just tutor for the Army for kids who need to do better on the ASVAB :)
