Its official... We're deploying :(!~

This past saturday orders came down. We start block leave the 28th and it ends on the 12th. ( were getting screwed) We find out on week one, block leave from weeks 2-4, and then they leave on weeks 5-6! WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!!!! We're not sure when they are suppose to leave, of course no dates, because of security reasons. All we know is that it will be in April after Block leave sometime. Its a 12 month deployment! THANK THE LORD its not longer. Im doing pretty well considering that we only found out he was deploying a couple days ago, but we've known about the potentialness of it for a while now. Being prego at the same time is definetly going to be a challenge. I have decided to remain in Germany during his deployment, to avoid having to be away from him even longer once he returns. They are scheduling R&R now, so hopefully he will be able to come home in November (about 7 months in) and Chase should be about 3-4 months old depending on when he is born. Any advice as far as all my prego/baby drama goes during the deployment is welcome??? :beggin:

I'm sorry, Brit. That sucks. I have no information on the pregnant side of it, but don't worry. 12 months goes by quickly. We're already almost 7 months in and it feels like it's flown by. And you'll have your hands full with Chase :) so don't worry too much. You'll be so busy and so excited about all the fun things Chase will do that you won't have time to worry about Zack! (Ok....yes you will.. but it will definitely go by quickly!)

I'm so sorry. Everyone already mentioned it but it's true, time does fly. I have 2 boys and my DH has been in BCT and AIT since Oct and I can't believe he's almost done. Time has flown I have been so busy. Now I miss him a lot and it's not easy everyday but I know I can do this and so can you!!!

im so sorry to hear that hun! i wasnt prego during my first deployment so i dont know, im truely sorry he wont be there but im praying for his safe return, goodluck with everything hun

oh that sucks. ive never been prego during a deployment but i was during is MOS training. time will fly. keep your chin up!

Well I can't give preggo advice since I have no kiddos yet

Just know that we'll all be here for you through the deployment
These girls have been my rocks so far while dealing with ours so I'll be there for you the same way.

Maybe see if you have any family or friends who can come visit you around when the baby is born to help out
