Finally we decided FOR SURE!!

So everyone knows how D and I have been talking about me moving out to Cali for MONTHS!! We've talked, and analyzed, and over-analyzed, and finally decided that we can actually afford it, and still have SOME money (not as much as if I stayed here, but some is better than none at all) saved for when we move back here to TX.

We are getting a contract marriage, but won't have our actual wedding for like two years. I know many are going to disagree with my choices, but this is the right decision for us. For the people that don't understand, I don't need them to. I'm going to talk to my parents about it, and they're totally going to freak at first lol, but they'll get it eventually.

It will probably help that my parents LOVE him, because I could be running off with some boy they hate?! I'm just so excited I had to tell yall right away!! I'm not going to move out there until next January, so its still some time away.. but in the mean time I'm going to work and save every last penny I make and he's going to do the same so we'll have all of that when I go.

AHH I'm just so excited because this feels so right. Like we have a plan, we're still being responsible, but now we'll get to be together!

Oh Lisa...I'm sooo happy for you! And very jealous that you get to live there! lol I'm gonna miss you sooo much when you leave though!!!!! :( Atleast now I'll have TWO reasons to go out there to visit! :D

That's so exciting!! MY parents didn't love the idea of me getting married before our wedding but it grew on them! Just talk to them and really let them know that you and D have discussed it and discussed it again and again and that this is the right choice for you and if they don't see it now they will see it eventually!

I don't know if its a big deal to yall because they're only a few months apart but D and I won't be having our big wedding for like 2 years (maybe a little less) and I don't know like ya know what I mean?! lol

lol Kathryn I totally already thought of that!! but the problem is that we don't know when we're going to get the contract marriage (as far as before he goes on deployment or right when he gets back) and its going to be really hard to plan a wedding on a random day two years later, especially with like 1. what kind of weather that month had 2. what day of the week that date will be on in two years 3. what other holidays it may be close to lol and other random things
