Hey Girls! I'm back. I'm in Ottawa and back from GA! Hangin with Jay's family this weekend, but on Monday, I'm back in full force!!! Savannah was awesome but I was ready to come home! Jay and my father got along really well which was I wanted!!! So, I will catch up totally on Monday so keep it in line! lol jk!!!

Okay, so, here is the update. We left on Friday the 13th at like 1 PM for the long ass car ride which really wasn't that bad actually. It was our first Road Trip together and we had so much fun. I took tons of pictures on the way down. I'm one of those girls who has to get every state sign we cross into. We got into GA around 11 which wasn't bad at all. Once you get out of Ohio, the speed limit is 70 so we cruised at about 85 most of the way. (Ohio is like the only state with a 65 MPH speed limit I think, Losers!) Saturday we got up and went to River Front Street area which was totally crazy. It was like Noon and the place was packed with people ready to party for St. Pattys day. There were some really neat shops and bars. There was a guy playing drums on these 5 gallon paint jugs and he was awesome. The weather was kind of chilly, but it was nice. The things these people would wear there was just funny. I laughed my ass off. So we left then and went back to my Dads house for dinner, well they were tired and wanted to go to bed, but Jason and I were not ready, so we went to this bar down the street called Robins Nest and started talking to some people and decided to go back downtown. We took a cab though because I knew we would be drinking and we didn't really know the way around. Well, Saturday night at the River Front was an absolute mess. There were people EVERYWHERE. We went to this rooftop bar which I can't remember the name of and they had a really good band there and just hung out and danced. I couldn't believe how many people were there, and it wasn't even St. Pattys day yet. The bars stayed open till 4 am that night! One cool thing was the fact that everyone was nice and there were no fights. I thought for sure with that many people in one area and all that beer flowing, there would be some, but nope.
Then Sunday, we went to Hilton Head. It was a nice island, but to be honest, I could be happy if I never go back. It's too rich for my blood. We took some pictures of some really nice houses that we could only dream of owning. We also went up in the famous Lighthouse which had a lot of really neat information in it. I took some pictures from it too. But it wasn't really anything to wright home about.
Monday, my Dad took off work so me, him and Jason just putz around the city. We went to Hunter Airforce Base and drove around there. Took my Dad to the PX which wasn't really anything to brag about. Then we went back and drank some beer and grilled some steaks and Jay and my Dad went fishing. He's got a pond in his backyward. Oh, and on a sidenote, my Dads house is so close to Ft. Stewart, we could hear them doing shooting drills at night. Some were so loud, they shook the house.
Tuesday, we got up at 6 am to get ready for the parade. We were at the square by 9 and drinking by 10. I have never seen so many people ready for a parade in my life. It was crazy. The newspaper for that day was even green! The parade started at 10 and lasted 4 hours. I swear they had every soldier from Ft. Stewart marching in it. The funny thing was I guess giving kisses on the cheek is the big thing and leaving lipstick marks and it was funny to see all these Soldiers with lipstick on their faces in Uniform. And Lora, the GA Bulldog was in the parade, I got a pic of him for you! My dads friends went with us and she was toasted and was kissing everything and everyone that walked by. It was hysterical. I have to post a picture of Jasons Naked Lady Beads he got to wear that day. They were funny. After the parade we went to this area and they had a DJ and danced and just hung out and enjoyed the day. It was the first nice day that we had. It was really an experience. Jason was bummed because he didn't get to see any boobies. So, I hooked him up later!
Wed, we went to Tybee Beach and it was cold. Really cool beach though, I liked it a lot better then Hilton Head. More my style. I was laughing at the people who were out there in their suits and I'm sitting on the beach in my hoodie freezing my ass off. We didn't stay really long though because it was to cold and windy. So, we went back to my Dads and got stuff ready for dinner, Jay made Steak/Chicken Kabobs that night. My Dads wife came home and it was rather interesting. Me and her don't really see eye to eye, she knows we don't like her, and we know that she doesn't like me and my brother. But we smile and play nice. So she asked how we liked Tybee and stuff and I told her that I really liked it and thought it would be really cool in the summer. A good beach to hang out at, told her about the crazy people sun bathing and in the water. She goes, "Yeah, you def get a lower class of people there". I was like huh? After I just got done telling you how much I liked it???? WTF Lady??? I had to walk away because if I didn't, I would have been kicked out of my Dads house for sure. I was shocked. I went into my room and Jason followed me and I was like Who the hell does she think she is??? It was so frustrating. And then she tells me that she invited her daughter over for dinner, I was so annoyed. Her daughter, brings over her huge dog, a rotweiller named Zeus and this dog is running through their house and just being annoying. Now if I had done that with my beagle, she would have had a fit. I was just annoyed and ready to leave.
So Thursday morning, Jason looks at me and goes, what do you wanna do, do you wanna stay another day or head home, I was like, we're leaving now. I had a good time, but it was time for me to return to my part of the ship, so to speak.
Then we drove back and went to Jay's Moms house and spent the weekend there. It was a fun trip! I'm so glad I went. It kind of hurt Jay in the Leave department, but he knew how much it meant to me. I took 700 pictures. Yes, 700! I took pictures of everything from the mountains in the car ride to the bird at the beach. I was crazy, but it's digital, I can delete what I dont want!

Aww well we've missed you too Christy!! and I'm glad you had so much fun!! minus your dad's wife and her daughter and her daughter's annoying dog! lol they all suck!

hey christy glad your back! sounds like you had a great time other than the annoying lady and her daughter, lol ive been to hilton head before, your right about it being too richy some people were so rude! but anyway im glad you had a great time!!

Yay for being back!!your trip sounds like a total blast!!well except for your dads snobbish wife and the big dog..ughhh.and wow!700 pictures!?thats a lot!
