they stay in san deigo which is like 45 min from the base.

Well actually at first we used to stay in San Clemente (or however thats spelt) then we started staying in San Diego because we always ended up driving there anyway

Haha..I saw your response on my phone but mtmh is very complicated to write back and when I got on my computer I forgot to write you back..lol I was just wondering where people stay when they go to visit..lol

the base has really nice cabins right on the beach that they rent. now dont quote me on this but i think its like $70 a night of a cabin. you just have to get them im advace if your going in the summer. you can look it up on the web site.

oh i just looked it up. i was close it $75 for a one room cabin. and they are on the beach. like you step out your door and in to the sand. lol

6 months in advance?? I can't do that..lol I'm planning on going up there the first weekend they get back and who knows how much of advance I'll get when that happens..boo

you have to book it 6 months in advance Kathryn? I'm really surprised if they stick to that because its the military and NOTHING is ever known/for-sure 6 months in advance!

Well that's what it said on the site. Maybe it was for a different lodge? Idk...We'll see what happens. I have about 4ish more months to think about it! lol
