Stupid!

So this is really stupid but it's annoying me. Mike text me a few minutes asking if I wanted to hear his bad news. So I said sure, can't get any worse then deploying so shoot. Well apparently the three day weekend he took this weekend wasn't supposed to be for another two weeks. So basically Mike didn't go to work on Friday. I know it was Mike's stupid fault for not paying attention but where were his friends? I mean if one of you didn't show up I would call you and be like where the hell are you? You better get here now! Better to be late for PT then not show up at all right? I just find it hard to believe NO ONE called. His boss is such a dick. I know it's not their job to make sure Mike gets to work when he's supposed to but it's really not like my husband to be late let alone not show up at all! Work aside no one checked to see if the kid was even ok! If the whole day went and you guys didn't show up at all I'd be really worried about you! BLEGH boys are so stupid.

So now we have to cancel our trip this weekend and get him ready for DIRTS. So it's not really a big deal I'm just annoyed at the whole thing. I just think his friends can be really shitty sometimes.

That sucks. I know for one JM and the guys in his unit are teh first ones calling to check on each other. Shit he was sick on day and throwing up and they sent him home from formation before PT, didnt make him go to the dr. or anything... just gave him the day off. ppl kept going in and out to check on him. That just sucks that they didnt call. I also know JM and his guys call each other 30 min before PT if they know one of them went out the night before just to make sure they get to PT and dont get in trouble.

I feel bad for him, it was an honest mistake. And it pisses me off cause I know he would have called ANY one of them even if they weren't friends. blah...

So apparently it's not my husband or his friends who are stupid!! IT'S ME!!! The way he worded what he wrote this morning I thought what I posted above. APPARENTLY he's missing out on the NEXT 3 day weekend for DIRTS which is a safe driver course from the accident in December. SOOO Mike's friends don't suck, I do! Lol...silly me not to realize that the army would give them 2 long weekends in a row!! And I blame it partially on his wording of it and the fact that he woke me up!!
