I am just wondering if you know of any places that give military discounts...Recently i bought some lingere and i was really surprised but they gave me a military discount:rockon:

You gotta ask! Some places will have signs in the store and some it depends on what the owner/manager says. I know rack room shoes does!

I always show my military ID when I buy stuff with a card just in case...found out a bunch of places give it when they didn't have it posted!

kmart gives 10%, i discovered it when i was in kentucky, and the one here at benning does too! our movie theater back home gives a discount, so you could try there
if you rent a car, i know they gave us one when we did enterprise! good year tires gave us a 10% discount when we got our oil changed!

Dennys! lol supposedly only on Tuesday's around here but the waitress we always have always gives it to us! The best thing to do is ask. And be careful when you rent a car/hotel cause I've found that sometimes the rates they offer other than the military discount are a better deal. I'm not sure how that works but they've worked both numbers for us and sometimes the military discount comes up more expensive. I don't know if it's something with current deals or w/e but just be careful!

Aeropostale and Goodwill both give 10 or 15 percent discounts

A lot of theme parks and zoos and things of that nature lets you go in for free! Or at least they do around here. Also Cracker Barrell gives you 10%! That's Mike's favorite!

theme parks are great. we can get into disney land for 60 instead of like 90 i think, and the marines and family get into Kohts berry farm free all of Nov.

yeah i forgot about the zoo, the louisville zoo in ky gave us a discount!!! and you girls might wanna check at the itr on your different bases, they have good prices if you buy theme park tickets and different vacation tickets and stuff there!

Some hotels and such give military discounts...actually the place I'm looking at for our honeymoon has a 50% discount on weekdays for military. :)

New York & Company gives me 15%. All I need to do is show them his ID. They don't even ask to see him. LOL Aeropostle does too, but they are kind of a pain in the ass about it. My Brother and Father both work at Autozone. My Brother is a District Manager in the Cleveland area and they are not allowed to give out MD's, but my Dad, who's a DM in Savannah, does. So it depends on the location for Autozone. Chick Fill-A gives them 15% off. I know the Pizza Hut gives them discount too. Um, Ambiance will also give you a MD! Outback usually will give Jason his meal for free. LOL It's kind of funny. He doesn't really ask though, he doesn't like to advertise. Cedar Point (An amusment park here) gives a 15% Discount too.

I love buffalo wild wings!! I have one right by my work! I wonder if I just tell them I'm with a Marine if they will still give me the discount even though I'm not married..LOL It's worth a try!!!

Im not sure how accurate it is, but my husband found out somehow that the Disney Park hopper pass for 5 days is free for Active duty Military service people, and its like 99 dollars or something for dependents... Seaworld is also FREE!!! My hubby and i went before we got married with my parents, ALL of us got in for free! He just told them i was his wife, and they were my parents, and they were like, sure whatever!! AWESOME... Aeropostale , NY & company!

i love ny & co i havent worn their stuff in a lil while but thats where im goin shopping as soon as i get my figure back! thats awesome that they give discount, i used to use my moms card and go shopping all the time and then give her the money when i got paid! and ive heard about the whole disney thing before, we didnt know how true it was, but deffy something worth looking into!
