I want to know who had the longest and the shortest engagement....

I'll start. We were engaged for 2 days! Yes, he proposed on New Years night, and we married on Jan 2nd. Lol... It worked... 7 years later here we are.

I was engaged dec 25 married feb 7 so thats like a month and some days lol

We were engaged quickly but didn't get married for years.

We were engaged in January 22nd '04 ( and got pregnant that night..lol ) and was married Dec 29th '06.

we were engaged for just over a year...like 1 year and 4 days.

We were engaged for like 3 months. And we're still going strong almost 5 yrs later!

Ok let me see if I can explain this. We met online right after his birthday so late May 06 early June. Met in person in August and spent a few days together (like 4) and then he proposed to me the next time he came home. So we had been together in person for like maybe 6 days before we got engaged --that's not a lot of dates!! lol. Then we were engaged from Dec 06 to July 08...so almost 2 years. So we had a long engagement but a not so long time for dating! So far so good!!!!

WE got engaged October 7th, 2008 and got married October 18th, 2008!

We got engaged in July '08 and will be married April '09 so...... a 9 month engagement!

Well we are not married yet but we got engaged Dec 20 and will be getting married May 2010. Sooner if I have any kind of say. Like Oct 09 as soon as he gets back. I hate waiting.

So I think I have the longest engagement with 1 yr 7 mos?? It would have been exactly 2 if we hadn't done the JOP but I couldn't wait after he got home from Iraq lol

we got engaged December 15, 2007 on our six month anny. and married July 12, 2008 so six months ish...

I got engaged May 02, 2008 and we married October 19th 2008.. Fun, Fun!! Basic trainning kept us apart for awhile during our engagement... and AIT!

we got engaged on christmas eve 2002, were married april 19 2003! so a lil less than 4 months! we were dating at the time for 8 months, got married 2 days before our 1 yr dating anniversary!! we werent in a hurry cause of the military (we joined 2.5 years later) but we were just excited and didnt wanna wait!

We were friends for 3yrs, got together March 28th, got engaged April 1st, and married April 4th..lol

Actually Spahr, sweetie, Danie still holds the record for short engagement..lol..hers was 2 days..lol..yeppers,but hey, you know that saying.. "good things come in 3s!" think about it, 3yr friendship,3 days dating,3 day engagement!

lol..it's all good..never can put a time limit on true love..every day still feels like the first! kinda like that movie, 50 first dates..LOL..it's awesome! :)
