My MIL called today, and looks like they are going to stop by tomorrow on their way back to texas for a day visit! Great! What the heck! I am not looking forward to dealing with Colton again when they leave... that sucked!

It went ok... We took them with us to run our errands and get our groceries. Our life doesn't stop just because they were in town. We went to the commissary, and Colton and I got our hair cut. Then we were home to put it all away do naps (late of course) and I watched my neighbors kids because she had duty. Otherwise, it was an interesting visit... I wasn't expecting it to go so well, and Evan's step-dad told us that he was very proud of us and what we are doing and how we make it work and don't 'expect' help from family. It kinda flew me for a loop... how else are we supposed to be? I mean really? We got ourselves in the mess, (not really, dumb tenants) but it's our responsibility as parents and partners to make it through the best we can. Everyone else is struggling too... idk... I guess it impressed him.?

Well I'm glad it went well! Although maybe slightly insulting? lol. I don't know IL's are weird! I'm glad you're back and hopefully the IL's will stay away for awhile!

hahaha I like how you took them with you to get haircuts and what not. Well I'm glad it wasn't completely horrible! At least you got it over with and you won't have to deal with them for a while now right?
