I just talked to my boy. All his stuff is packed. They are all getting ready to go. He just canceled his phone service. He said he will call me tonight but after that who knows. I'm not even sure when his phone is getting cut off. This sucks. Reality just came crashing down.

Thank you. As always you make me feel sane if not better. I don't know why that came as such a huge shock today. I knew it was coming even if I didn't know exactly when.

It's always a shock, no matter how many times it happens. I watched Nick pack for deployment, when he came home on leave, and when I went up there for leave... and then when he said it was his last phone call... it was a shock every single time. It sucks. But it's part of the military life, I guess.

Mouse, I'm sorry girlie! It's never an easy thing to watch. I cried when Jay packed up his stuff for Ft. Bragg before they left. It was very hard, but just stay strong and remember we're here for you! :bighug: These girls helped me get through when I didn't think I could.
