I just found out I got a slot at AIRBORNE SCHOOL!!!


But its a major problem. It starts the week before finals here at CMU, and starts the same day JM deploys. I HATE THIS... I want to go, but I don't think I can... I can't push my date back any because then it cuts into my summer class :( FML I wanted airborne sooo badly... :(

I already did... its a no go... and its the same day JM deploys... thats worse than the finals thing... I PROMISED I WOULD BE THERE...

I'm sure he'd understand... it's good for your career right? Maybe you could visit him earlier blah but I guess if u can't move up ur exams than ur screwed

He gave up sniper school for me... so I dunno. I mean its not necessary... lol. Airborne Nurse... we dont really get any joy... not like we get to continue to jump out of planes or anything... we just get pretty wings to wear!

He just told me he doesnt care if I am there or not when he deploys... I just don't know what to do... I guess wait and see about taking my finals early... if thats a no go... nothing else matters... I just hate this. I am already so stressed... and now this.

hunny if you can get them bumped do it but if not then be there for JM cause you know it will make his day as hard as it will be to say good-bye

I just got told I have a slot held for me in July too... hope its the end of july then I can do it!

I was gonna say try not to stress but thats like saying try not to breath. Just wait and se I guess. Maybe it will all fall into place. If it were me I would want to be there when he goes. But knowing Tom he wouldn't want me there. Blah what a crappy spot to be in. I'm sorry hun.

Well ROTC is different. Our schools only get so many slots a summer and have to pick ppl to go, so its like a HUGE deal to get picked! Apparently there is a slot in July... so I need to figure out my online class and hope that one works out. My MSG in charge of airborne is super cool so he will understand why i want the later slot... not only for finals but for JM deploying too!


Mouse I definately did freak out. JM called me too and calmed me down! I know I shouldnt have freaked out. Cadre is sooo cool and really working with me to get things so I can go!

Well ladies I had to pass up AIRBORNE today... MSG told me though "I am on the radar" so next year I get top priority apparently... but with LDAC and my NSTP its pretty much impossible I think... but oh well, sorry Army, my education comes first.

OH spahr... so true. Like the last 3 weeks have been crappy things all along. JM has been like WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. I keep crying for no reason... I have just be so stressed, and while it sucks, for some reason It just wasnt meant for me to go.

haha maybe.. LDAC and my NSTP are a month... AIRBORNE is 3 weeks... so if I get Airborne it will be a very busy crazy summer... NSTP and LDAC are required though...

So get this.. since Airborne didnt work out I just got offered a slot at CFT at WEST POINT... and guess who can't go to it either... lol. Somedays being a nurse SUCKS.

I'd go for the slot in July and if it interupts with your classes see if you can do your finals early
