Ok so today is just one of those days where i would rather just hibernate.maybe its a lack of sleep.Today i was talking to my hubby and everything was great..and all of a sudden i felt very sad and lonely.i HATE feeling that way.and i dont feel as close to him as usual and i'm still new with marriage and its my first deployment..so is this normal?i cant wait for this effing deployment to be over!!!!:(

Marie~ It is definitely normal to feel that way. Unfortunately, it is a product of the deployment and happens to everyone I know that has gone through a deployment. Everytime we had a deployment I went through a whole range of emotions. Just know that you are not alone and I am here to help if you need it. I don't know you very well, but I am a good listener and I have broad shoulders thanks to shoulder pads LOL.

Of course it's normal. You're thousands of miles apart, you're going to feel disconnected from one another at least once in your deployment. It's a tough time for you both - and if you're overly stressed or tired, etc... it causes us to withdraw. Don't worry, it's a normal feeling. It doesn't suck any less - but you guys aren't in trouble.

Marie... It is completely normal. As hard as it is know you are not alone. As Samme said... Everyone I have ever known to go through a deployment has felt the same way. I hope it goes over fast and you are back to your normal self. I'm also here if you need me.

well im not married to aaron- but i can definitely tell you that its completely normal to have days like that. i notice that a lot of the time its when im talking to him then i hang up i feel very alone and i hate that feeling. you just gotta keep yourself busy [i know you've probably heard this 5327583658365 times lol] but just do small things that keep your mind off of it- thats what helps me!!
sadly, you're gonna have those kind of days every now and then, especially when you dont have a lot to keep you busy but just know that most of us have them too so you can always get on here and talk to us :)

I had so many days like that. Just try and stay positive and remember that another day down is another day closer to home!!! :bighug:

Sometimes you have to just take time to yourself and let yourself get it together and express whatever it is that you need to express!!!
