I'll be a military girlfriend. Yeah, I know, right!?
Most of you know Josh came back to base in Iraq which means internet. I was so estactic and ugh it made my day. Well I have YET to talk to him. He's always away on AIM and never responds to my ims.. I know okay not so bad but there's more -
I checked his facebook [bad jess bad] and saw he commented his ex's pictures one saying "wat up sexy" and another "..hiding that gorgeous face.. blah blah" um excuse me!? you don't have time to talk to me but have time to comment her!? and when the hell does he call other girls sexy and gorgeous..oh no. does not fly well in my book so I really don't know what is going on in that boy's head right now. How can someone go from willing to marry me on the spot to can't even talk to me. All I gotta say is FHL (fuck-his-life.. my remix of FML)

Well here's the update so far:
First, I need to apologize because I've basically went MIA. I went home last night just for the evening to spend time with family & friends. It was good and what I needed. Jackass still won't talk to me. However, I did get some info..he told a friend of ours that I "haven't made an attempt in 4 months when he was in ____" :banghead: Soo I guess my letters weren't there waiting for him and he's taking it out on me. Great.. haha asshole. He also said "I'll talk to her when I talk to her" well F^ck him because maybe I don't wanna talk to him! bahh :)
Anywho, I was cleaning today and found 1 1/2 letters that I forgot to send out to him. hehe well.. lets just say I can be a conniving bitch lol the last half of the letter I pretended like it was before he came to base, wrote things like "I can't wait to talk to you again! We should web cam ASAP, I really miss you! Come back to base soon!" bahah I hope he feels so bad after reading it mwhaha
According to facebook, we're still in a relationship. I'm really debating on changing it but Alana says 'no' haha
Honestly, I think Iraq got to his head. I'm trying to be understanding but damn this is idk. ridiculous. I think once he gets home things will be alright but this isn't going to leave my mind. The way I see it if it's meant to be, it'll find a way but the way he's acting right now..I'm not sure if I even want him anyways lol
I say give it a chance first. If he hasn't spoken to you in at MOST two weeks, then you should change it. I hate that he's being such a D-Bag. I wish I could grab a bat and just chase him. Give him time to cool down and realize what an idiot he's being.

If it were me
a) I would totally fly off the handle and over-react (the honest reaction)
b) try to give it time and see what happens. (the smart reaction)
Is it possible that he knows you check out his page and is just trying to be a dick to see how you respond? I mean maybe he is doing the whole "I'll make her jealous and see if she is really waiting for me" kind of thing. :shrug:

I'm really hoping everything works out for the both of you.
Just a little insight. When my husband was in Iraq the last time, letters were few and far between.
He didn't get a lot of my letters because of the mail system. If there
were necessary items, letters and packages were held off until all of the necessary items
were sent...then the letters and stuff were sent. He didn't receive anything for almost two months.
He had gotten a big bonus for reenlisting, and he thought I had left him
and taken his money. Of course I was thinking everything was fine, but that was not the case.
He changed his email, cancelled his myspace account, cancelled the email
we normally used, and locked me out of his mypay account. Since we only talked about
once every 3 weeks or so, I couldn't get ahold of him to find out what was going on.
Eventually, he called and we worked it all out. He apologized and said there
was so much going on over there with other guys he lost track of what
was real.
I know it sounds shitty, but he has to deal with a lot of people getting
"Dear John" letters over there. It plays with the mind. Even the best relationship (which
is what we had) can be affected. I am not making excuses, but it is the
truth.
The best advice I can give you is to give it time.
He will get the letters eventually and realize what a dick he has been to you and come
crawling back (if he is smart) because you are a beautiful and intelligent woman.

yeah I have to agree with everyone else. & Jess since D and I are your... what do you call us again?... anyway he'll tell you that they are ALWAYS saying stuff like that to them. In the Marines his name (for God knows what reason) is Jody or Jodie however its spelt. They're always saying "Jodie's f***ing your girl right now" and trying to convince them that we've cheated... I'm sure it gets really hard to ignore after 4 months ESPECIALLY if the mail system is messing up and he's not getting your letters.
On the other hand: What did he say back to what you posted on his fb page?! because I'm really excited to hear this!

To create some controversy to blame on her would let you pretend like you called her every chance you gained in Iraq, or that you wrote HER any letters (especially considering she is the one who is at home, and has a fixed address. Unlike you), and certainly you tried your hardest. But I am at a loss. You have the audacity to pretend like you care at all about her. Like you are in a relationship. So I got a message this morning - we're over. he said "you've changed i've changed this long distance just isn't working out" so that's that. Maybe one day down the road we'll be together again but who knows? I do know that I need to focus on myself for a while and just have fun and if it's cool i'd still like to stick around and be with you girls cause you helped me so much through all of this and it would just blow without you :)
