if this question bothers anyone. I know some of you are trying not to think about this, but I am in need of some info. My husbands father passed back in '06. He was an Air Force vet. Well Tim's uncle said he would make him a shadow flag box for Tom to display his funeral flag, but it never happened. I was thinking about getting one for Tim for Christmas, but am not sure what size the flag is when folded. Do any of you know? Tim was really close to his father, and it would mean alot to him to have that...

I know that there is a couple different sizes folded that they use for different functions... It's the funeral flag that I am needing the size of... I will try google and see what comes up. :)

Devon says 23 3/4"W x 11 3/4"H for a burial flag and that he is like 80-90% sure. I hope that helps.

I'm sorry I wasn't trying to sound rude whenever I said try google. I had no idea there are different sizes, and all of that. I don't ever think about flags in that sense. :)

Sherry no worries... I didn't know myself until I started looking into a display case for it. I kept getting mixed responses from people I would ask, so I was turning to people who had people who could maybe find out! LOL

I didn't even know the flag is a different size. I have one (from Afghanistan though) and almost measured it for you ;) Well at least now I know need to measure it for when I get my case.
