Black Friday

Do any of you ladies go out for Black Friday to find good deals? I go every year and I LOVE it! This year I sat outside of Target to get Ry an XBox.

My plans consist of hiding in my house! LOL I tried the shopping on black Friday before... yeah so not doing it again! :)

I ALWAYS go, but this year didn't get to for obvious reasons. No one here to keep the boys and not really worth the crowds at our "dollar tree size" PX. I go every year with my mom. Every thanksgiving night I stay at her house and wake up early and we are at the mall at 4am. then we get some breakfast at denny's then hit walmart on our way home around 7 after the crowds have died down. Its an every year tradition, this is the first we were unable to go. I kept myself too busy to sit and think about it. Because I miss her and our traditions.

Black friday sales aren't worth it to me. I save just as much by shopping throughout the year and I don't have to worry about my safety or finding a sitter any other time of year.

I've been once, but it was the middle of the afternoon for some of the less amazing deals. I don't have the motivation to wake up in the middle of the night.

I hate black friday BUUUT THis year was ok....because most the stores opened at midnight, and we didnt go out till almost 8am on friday...we had no lines, not a lot of people, and we got our stove for 30% off and our doors for our house like 50% off....we also got my ski helmet (might be last time for them to be on sale before i go to colorado in jan), and LOTS AND LOTS of toys and treats for the dogs, 2 dog pillows (their old one they had for 2 years, and we decided every year we're gonna buy them pillows cuz menards has them for $8 on black friday)...and a collar and leash for miss Roxy

I did, we usually go around 8 am after the stores have cleared a bit just to check movies and clothes. Last year I shopped online and I got some awesome deals. My boys really wanted a XBox Kinect but we put it off hoping for a good deal eventually. Glad I waited and we scored the deal at Walmart. They really did not want anything else and the fact that my mom just passed I figured why not make them happy and go all out. I can't wait to see their faces :)
