So after I got dinner started and Mike was in the shower I yelled to him I was going to check the mail. When I got to the top of the half staircase/landing there was an old woman with the door propped open checking her mail and a girl not much younger than me opening the door behind her. I held the door for the old woman and stepped out of the way so the young girl could pass but she just looked at me like I was stupid. So the old lady made a silly face and apologized for being in the way. Which she wasn't. The girl started to ask me a question so I leaned in to get my mail. She persisted to ask me if I had seen a "tall skinny kid with a backwards hat"....that describes half of the men in the 30 building apartment complex I live in but No I haven't. I walked back through the second door and she stood there looking up the stairs like overwhelmed by the fact that you could go up or down. As I walked down the stairs I noticed she was behind me and catching up to me quickly so I popped in the door and locked and chained it quickly. With this I take the 3 steps into the teeny apartment and stand in the doorway to the bathroom and reiterate the story to my husband, telling him I think she's high and that she made me uncomfortable. I left him to finish his shower and keep working on dinner and I noticed she was knocking on the door telling me that she knew "bussy" was in there and to let her in. So I get Mike who answers the door. She tells him she heard me tell said bussy that their was a girl looking for a tall skinny kid with a hat and she knows his voice and heard him answer when I said it. Mike's like your dumb, your high and the only people here are me and my wife. Please leave or will call the police. She tells us well since you won't let me in I'm going to call the police. Mike closes the door and I told him I wished she would - only special people can call the police on themselves. So with this we both decide we've never seen her before and she doesn't belong here. And she doesn't leave either. Well I'm not going anywhere here tonight if shes hanging around so Mike called the police lol. We saw them talking to her in the parking lot. They came in and asked me what happened and we left it at if we find bussy we'll let him know their looking for them and the police to know where he is....I was like we've lived here barely 10 months we don't know anyone she followed me and wouldn't leave. The two police officers were a very nice young man and woman and left it for us to call them if we had any other problems.

So that's the start to my "relaxing" evening home from work. She really freaked me out!!!

sketchy people like that make me so nervous. i don't know if they just have their own problems or if they're bad people and trying to take advantage of other's. that would have totally creeped me out but good thing mike was there to help save the day.

hope she finds this 'bussy' so she can take him and GTFO

lol I'm pretty sure the cops told her she couldn't hang around here.

I just don't like being followed and bothered. I said to Mike if she had just left me alone I wouldn't have bothered with her. But her stalking me down the hallway honestly made me feel threatened. Who knows what kind of doped up crazy strength she had! Or what she was willing to do thinking another woman is hiding said bussy!

lol I don't have much use for people who do drugs and that's why. Why would you want to walk around like that? You look like a moron! You should have seen the gears turning for her to think of what the kid looked like to ask me if I had seen him. And then her arguing with Mike that he was in our apartment and she heard him talking to me and she knows what he sounds like and it was def him...why would your friend want to be hidden from you? or have friends that would hide him? Seriously dumb! It creeped me out that she stood there and LISTENED to our conversation.

I'm glad you are ok, The old me like 5 years ago would have turned around and knocked the crap outta her. I knocked a drunk in the bushes back then, very quick tempered. The more mellow me that is now, Suggests getting a flash light taser. It looks normal you have to plug the pin into the bottom in order for the taser to work, It is an awesome thing. I have 2 of them. 1 in my home and 1 in my car. They are like really good and give you a feeling of security. I wear mine on my wrist when I have to go somewhere late at night, or when its early morning, Parking garage or whatever. Its also good to shine in your car before you get in to make sure all is ok. I highly recommend that, IMO pepper spray on a key ring wont do much if someone comes up behind you and you drop your keys, if you have the taser on your wrist then you can F**k someone up quick. Thanks for the idea Sherry! Because I go into strangers homes on a daily basis I do keep OC spray in my car and purse (it's mace my brother used to use as a corrections officer). My husband is a gun collector and we both have state permits to carry so I always have that as an option as well (except at the moment I actually threw my permit in the garbage with a bunch of receipts from my wallet and have to get the police dept to issue me a new one! I haven't done it cause I'm embarrassed at how I "lost" it lol) .

and LMAO at you knocking a drunk in the bushes! I would have turned around and popped her if I hadn't been SO close to my apartment and she had been drunk. High people really bug me out because they're so unpredictable.
