Jessie got me thinkging - what is your favorite game to play as a kid?
I loved playing teacher and house. I really liked to play house in the summer when I could make mud pies lol.
What games did you guys play as kids?

I know I gave up playing with Barbies at about the same time. But I do remember my first year of high school a few of my friends and I had a sleepover and played barbies all night. It was more as a spoof on things and other people we knew in high school. It was one of the funnest nights growing up I can remember. LOL
My brothers and I did the same thing. Someone always ended up hurt. Yet we would subject ourselves to it every weekend.

I loved Barbies....my cousins adn I played cowboys and indians which was setting up cowboy and indian (basically like toy soldiers) up and rolling a ball back and forth trying to knock over eachothers.....house....school....umm....the floor is lava and pillows and couches is how we jumped around lol....me and my cousin tylers fav movie was the legend of black thunder moutain....so we'd make forts in the basement and run around like we were the lost kids surviving the mountains lol

OMG! We used to put pillows in the rubbermaid containers so they were sticking out and put one leg in and drag them around the house like we were on jetskis!!! haha

My childhood was spent outside, Either riding bikes or playing basketball or softball. My mom would tell us I'm cleaning so go play. My brothers and I always hit the court and played. In the neighborhood we grew up with you could take the 5-7 minute walk unaccompanied by an adult and not worry with anything happening. OR street football with the neighborhood kids, WAS AWESOME....I was the only girl on our street so I got special treatment haha, We had one of the kids uncle who was only about 10 yrs older than us be the QB for both teams and we would run telephone pole to telephone pole. Lots of good memories back then. Street football was continued clear up until about middle school maybe summer before highschool. & Our family had a basketball goal at the road that my dad beat into the ground and put concrete so it wouldn't move so we also played ball alot there too. My whole life revolved around sports. I miss it. I think I had maybe a handful of barbies in elementary but as soon as 2nd grade became all about ball that was it on the barbies.
I didn't have too many Barbie's..I did have a Jem stage that I LOVED! I loved riding my bike and listening to music, I'll never forget my first boombox, it was light blue with a cassette player. Oh another favorite was the skip-it.

i lived about 2 miles from town where all my friends lived, so a lot of my summers were spent finding stuff to do around the house by myself. occasionally a friends mom would pick me up and we would go to one of the many lakes around. I went fishing a lot too. It was just too hard to find games to play by yourself ha

My friends and I were huge fans of the show survivor- So we were always outside building forts, trying to build fires find food.. lol ect. I also loved doing stuff with my horse too. Playing house or playing with my plastic toy horses was always a fav too. Ahhh. The good ol' days!

We would play hide and seek in the dark, tornado which was basically going outside on a windy day and spinning around. Whoever fell down last was the winner! Bike riding, mudpie resturant, GI JOE, teacher with the day care kids, and my little sis and I love pretending we were ThunderCats. We also liked to pretend we were farmers which meant we would dig up some ground and plant whatever we found in it. Dad was never to thrilled with that one, as we tended to plant more weeds then he was cutting down!
