What are you creative ladies currently crafting??

I just finished a KC Cheifs colored scarf for Mike. I'm working on an afghan for MIL/StepFIL for Christmas and I have a sewing project in mind but I have to get some fabric.

I'm working on spray painting a set of frames red for my kitchen

We are going to make cards for william. I bought construction paper markers, crayons stickers & glue. I also have paint that we are going to dip their hands in and make a banner for him to hang up in his room, saying how much we love and miss him. Last deployment We put our hand prints all over a sheet and sent it to him. The kids want to do that this time, and I figured it would be fun for them and give him a chance to have an updated sheet with our Little darren's prints. :) Thats as far as my creativity goes right now. haha I have other projects in mind, But will get into that later. ;)

I am trying to finish a crocheted blanket for Caleb, as well as a family tree book that I have been working on for about a year now. It took me awhile to get old and new pictures, as well as info from everyone to do a small bio of them on their respective pages. Though it is reminding me why I quit going to college for Photojournalism... because though I love photography and working with such, I hate and suck at writing!! LOL

I just finished decorating my binders for my classes! I of course put the class name, my name, and some sort of design that reflects whatever class it is. I even found the coolest Glee themed messenger bag to carry my stuff in! Wish I had sewing/knitting skills like y'all do!

I am hoping to buy a sewing machine and start making blankets and pillow. Maybe a quilt. My granny is very talented when it comes to that, (she made my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses) so I hope to learn and be as good as she is one day. Knitting is beyond confusing to me, so I've never had the interest to learn. ;)

Laura, I just saw a trailer for Glee the Movie?? I only saw the first season and I really liked it but there's no way I could get hubs to keep his mouth shut while I watch it lol. The football game is STILL my fave!

Sherry, my mom bought me a pretty standard machine from walmart and I LOVE It. I'm so not good at it but I keep trying :) I really enjoy it. I'm a wiz at PJ pants lol. I'd love to try quilting. My bed is currently covered by the metallica comforter MIL made my husband lol. ..classy :)

Mere, the Glee movie is like a live concert thing with behind the scenes stuff, I can't WAIT to see it!! I did love the second season, you should watch it no matter what Mike says!! I thought my husband would have something to say about it too, but he's actually grown to like the show, especially Coach Sylvester and her shenanigans!

lol I tell him he's the peanut gallery....he has something to say about everything and can be unbelievably annoying. he was SOOO bad when I was watching army wives I said forget it!! I'll watch by myself so I wait until he goes out to watch lol

I started a baby afghan and I'm still working on the one for MIL but I'm doing much better. I went to a class last week and they're going to teach me to knit in the round so I can learn to knit hats :D
