Soo I join the ranks of you that have screwed up postage of some sort...I sent my gf a birthday card and forgot to put the stamp on it. :busted: My question is can I just put a stamp on it or do I need to get a new envelope since they stamped it with insufficient postage??

hahahaha i'm not sure. though i would put a stamp on it anyway and just send it again. Of course then your girlfriend will know what you did hehe

Ugh that sucks...new envelope to be safe. You can always marker over the stamp though, and you should be fine

LOL Well I told her I did it cause her bday is tomorrow sooo her card which should have been early is now late...I guess I'll have to find a new envelope but I don't think it will fit in any of the ones I have here...thats what sucks about buying 1 card with 1 envelope

I use a peice of white paper and tape it over the stamp, then put the mailing stamp on it! It's worked for me!

I always just put the stamp on! I mean they can tell why the ink is there haha and CLEARLY you put a stamp on it the 2nd time around

you could always come up with this great elaborate story like..
the FBI stole the letter thinking anthrax was in it then on it's way home the wind blew it away to the North Pole & Santa thought it was an xmas wish list? extremely early wish list?

haha jess thats awesome and mere im sure shell just be thankful to just know you care and remebered late or not i mean it will show the post date witch was sent before her b-day right
