Do any of you know of really good tattoo make up or tattoo cover-up?! Just like temporary stuff but I don't mind if it's kind of hard to get off!

I didn't cover mine for my wedding. So I dont know. I think some bridal shops will have some stuff though. My Mom wanted me to cover mine up, but i refused. It's part of me. lol

LOL Poor Lisa! I would suggest telling her you have the tattoo. There is nothing she can do about it now. When Jeremy got his tattoo, his mom was really upset and just kept staring at it (it didn't help that it had my name on it), but it was over and done with it. She had to accept it. Like Christy said I would look at some of the Bridal Shops. I'm sure they have had that question asked a time or too. If nothing else I would suggest pancake cover-up. I don't know how well it stays on in the water, but it might work. I have never covered my tattoos so I don't know.

My first tattoo I got while I was in School for the Navy... after boot. I got it 3 weeks before going home for Christmas... The only one that knew was my grandma... and she was ok with it. My mom... well, I leaned over one day, and she saw it (tramp stamp) and flipped her lid!!! I looked are her and said... "not like I can remove it, you still love me?" It was ok... She got over it, and since, I've added 6 more! Lmao!!! She doesn't like them, but I think if she got one, she might feel differently about it!

My dad doesn't like mine either. It's funny because he was in the Marines a long time ago during the Vietman War and he NEVR got any tattoos the whole time he was in the service. He's like "how can you dot aht to your body?!" haha I'm just like bc it's my body and I want too! lol

Sorry, never covered either of mine. They are both relatively large.. I just kinda called my mom and said heeeeyyyy I'm gettin inked up. She wasnt happy, but I don't care.

lol. Well I just mean, you got it for a reason right? and it means alot to you right? So why be ashamed of it? Your mom is a big girl, she may not like it but it isn't like she is gonna beat you to a bloody pulp over it, your an adult. i didn't cover mine up for my wedding, I didn't take out my labret piercing either and everyone wanted me to, but... It is me, and I am not changing who I am to appease someone else. I say you don't cover it and when she notices say, "I know cool huh?" then if she starts freaking tell her "ooh well..."

That is hysterical. I remember when I got my belly button pierced and my Mom flipped out, "YOu come home with a tattoo, your ass is out of here". about a year later, I came home with one. LOL

Lol..my mom let me get my belly button pierced when I was 13!!! We made an agreement that if I made honor roll twice in a row she would agree to it..well I'm HORRIBLEEEEE in math so she never thought I would do it..well i did!!!! haha

Maybe look into this?? It doens't say anythign about what happend=s when you get it wet...and I've also seen your tattoo and it's pretty large so i don't know what help it would do. Just a thought incase you don't listen to us by just telling your mom and getting it over with! =]

I love you all but you just don't know my mother.. it's taken us sooo long to get as close as we are and she HATES tattoo's (but loves D... go figure?) I'm the third of four children and when they saw my belly button piercing (almost two years ago) they FLIPPED (we were in Padre) and said when we got home they were making me take it out

Of course they didn't but they STILL hate it. The one thing my mother has always said is do NOT get a tattoo. I'm the only person in my family who has EVER defied their rules lol I really just don't want to know how mad they would be. My mom's scary yall. I honestly think if I can cover it forever and never show her, then she'll never have to know.

I'm not ashamed of it in any way, but I'd also like to keep the peace, and keep my parents paying for the things they currently do pay for, which they wouldn't anymore once they found out, and I need their help.

I've never covered mine up but I know that David's Bridal has stuff that I've heard works pretty well
That way all those brides that want to cover up their exes names on their wedding day can lol
