what little things do you do when your SO is gone.

like i wear scotts clothes, dogtags, sleep with my stuff puppy he gave me, i use his body wash and all sorts of other stuff.

:) I have his cologne and I spray it on my pillow, the stuffed tiger he got me in Busch Gardens (Which is a GREAT sleeping buddy) and my body pillow (i suggest you get one, it's great) - I sleep in his shirts, I wear his dog tags, my ring and bracelets he got me.

I bought him this really neat necklace for when he left to go to Basic/AIT and he wore it the whole time on his dog tags - even says he lost it in the field and he had to crawl around in the mud to look for it before he found it again. Well before he left to deploy he lost his dog tags with the necklace and he was so heartbroken. Well, he left and I got him a second necklace and engraved it for him. Two months later Nick's grandmother found his old dog tags so he gave them to me - with the necklace I bought him on it, and he had it engraved and so I wear it everywhere it makes me feel connected because we wear the same necklace.

aww you girls are so movie status..lol...jk when tim was away at bootcamp and school i would wear his tags and his tshirt and slept with his favorite pj bottoms casue they smelled like him i didnt want to wear them cause it would ruin the smell... the little things we girls do to feel conected

I wear the necklace Tom gave me for x-mas. I stole a ton of his clothes when I was in his room on base too. lol! I've been wearing them non-stop since I got home. I have pictures of him taped on my alarm clock so its the first thing I see in the morning. And my phone is full of texts and voice mails from him. I have one of his hoodies that I wrap around my pillow when I go to sleep.
I have 2 mixes too that I listen to when I'm missin him bad. One he made me and one I made him.
If he was a normal guy I would have his cologne too but we're dirty punks. We don't wear smelly crap. :D

Aaww...isnt it pretty cool how we do the samr things?Well i wear his dog tags all the time...they've been to Iraq...i sleep with a picture of the 2 of us..a teddy bear he gave me for Valentines day last year,and his boxers.And every now and then i spray more colonge on.it makes me happy and sad at the same time.I cant wait to fall asleep in his arms again!!!!hehe

Umm..all I have is a figgin lighter he gave me! hahahahah Like I've mentioned, we started dating once he was deployed. He came down on leave for christmas and new years and that's when we met. So he gave me his Nascar lighter bc he knows how much I LOVE Nascar! ANDDDD I haven't lost it yet! lol I'm so proud of myself that I've had the same lighter for 2 months now..lol but it reminds me of him :) maybe i'll have more stuff to add on to this when he's back form deployment..lol I want his dog tags! :D

I wore his Army T shirt sprayed with his cologne, I have a pillow case with his picture on it that they Unit gave to me and I put it on the pillows next to me so it was like he was in bed with me. I wore the tags. Typical same stuff.

I bought him new deodorant so I could keep the one he had been using. Then when he was gone and when I was feeling lonely I would smell his deodorant. That's right ladies, I am a closet deodorant sniffer! Sniff Sniff

I would definitely suggest a body pillow! They rock. My kids are older and they will no longer sleep with me (I even offered to pay them). Last deployment I had to get one.

I do pretty much the same things, like wear his dogtags and spray his cologne on my pillow i sleep with a body pillow also. it just makes me feel a lot closer to him :)
i noticed that i started doing a lot of the same things he used to do while he was home- he used to be like a little kid and wake up and watch cartoons on sunday mornings [dont ask haha] and i notice i've started to do that too.

My daughter watches the stupidest cartoons ever!! Has anyone ever had to sit and watch The Backyardagains??? OMG I wanted someone to shoot me! She loves Dora and Go Diego Go..I can handle those and she learns a lot from them. I also hate Wonder pets!!

I love Veggie Tales!! My kids hate me because I sing all the time (and not actual songs....songs about "So now I am doing the dishes, and sweeping the floor. Look at me go!"), and even in front of their friends (but they think I rock so there). I sing the Veggie Tales songs all the time. I love the cheeseburger song!

Yes, I live to embarrass my kids!! It is my main purpose in life LMAO

Hmmm, when Yvain's gone... there are pretty much no limits to keeping myself occupied. I walk the dog, go out to eat, hang out with friends I havent seen in months. Go on roadtrips/bus trips... work alot. read. write in a journal. cook (so I'm better when he comes home). go camping. pretty much anything that will keep me busy.
