i am super excited to let you all know toys r us does layaway. i signed up for their montly email, and got one today stating come do a layaway. i thought maybe yall would like to know.

other stores who also do layaway. (that i know of) if u know a place, feel free to add it so we can all take advantage of these wonderful layaways!

kelly, i have been doing layaways for the last 4 yrs. this year we started darren a layaway sept 1 at the px. we got him lots of toys, then whatever we wanted to put in his stocking, so when we get it out he is completely done.. we get his out oct 1, then we are starting chris and josh's layaway together at whatever store we decide. we will include the stocking stuffers also. we start theirs oct 1, every year then get it out dec 1. this way by dec 1 i am done with all the shopping and i have 24 days to get everything wrapped. layaway makes the holiday shopping so much smoother for us and less stressful. and now that we have 3 kids to buy for, it helps being on some sort of schedule LOL. helps our wallet too.

Sounds like a great plan and idea! I am thinking of doing that with my stepsons Christmas stuff. It seems the bigger the child the more expensive the "toys"!
