sorry ive been MIA this weekend ladies! ive been moving!!
Friday i worked half a day, went to Dobbins AFB to get my ID updated (long story) checked out the BX while i was there, then went to the in-laws to celebrate joeys sisters bday with dinner with the fam, then the 'kids' went out to a bar. fun!
Saturday i got up early (chatted with hubs some online) and headed to joeys house, spent allllll day (literally till about 8pm) cleaning his room, packing old highschool stuff, throwing away a ton of stuff, rearranging, vacuuming, dusting, ect. then i went home and packed allll my stuff till about midnight (and chatted with hubs again!)
today i got up and in the snow (YES in the snow) moved my stuff to his parents house. i know what youre thinking-i moved in with the in laws! i swear im not crazy! they are the greatest people, ive always been super close with them, and i feel like theyre my parents. PLUS i get to stay in joeys room that he grew up in- the room we stayed in the whole time he was home and we got married! the room he proposed to me in,the room we first made love in, lots of memories in this room :) AND our dog is here-potter! so i get to have him again, and sleep and cuddle with him!!
its also hella closer to work for me, instead of an hour, its 25 min away...awesome! its closer to my two bestfriends, annnnd

its gets me out of my moms. i love my mom-she is my bestfriend, thats not the issue. i was living with her, as well as my brother, his girlfriend, and their 1 yr old-i looooved living with my neice and getting to see her everyday!
it was crowded. annnd i doubt most of you know but, my brothers an alcoholic. and i just couldnt take it anymore. seriously couldnt. i wont go into it though :)
so this is better for me-and for them, gets one person out of my moms and they can have my room, theyve been sleeping in her living room on the couches-sooo now they can have a bed.
it works out for everyone.

i love being here. im relaxed,so not tense (like i am at my moms around my brother) and just feel at home. i feel closer to joey...in his room, looking around and seeing his clothes in the closet, his stuff in the bathroom, he was here just over a week ago-and i can still smell him :) i love being here.

so thats my rambling update of what i consider good news, and why i havent been around this weekend :)

Don't you love that lingering smell of them? I loved that I could go in our room and smell him for a long time! It was my haven! I'm glad things are almost done, and you are comfortable.

That is so great, Kelly! During Jere's first deployment, me and the kids moved in with his mom and dad and my brother-in-law. It was the best time, but it was a little crowded. After six months the house next door opened up so we moved in. It was the best knowing that even though Jere was gone, I could go to his mom or dad and they would help me. Way to go girl!! Congrats on the move!

Kelly that's AWESOME!! I did the same while Bryan was gone, I felt so much closer to him being in his room!! I also had someone to vent to (his mom cause she missed him a LOT) so I wasn't going crazy here with a bunch of folks that didn't care/understand what was going on!! Glad you're settled in!!

thanks everyone!!! im loving being there!
and lora i agree: its nice to live with people who have dealt with/been through a deployment before and understand, i can goto them and vent/cry,ect without feeling weak or weird lol. dont get me wrong my family tried to understand best they could but its just not the same. and i have my puppy back! (or our puppy lol)
i still have some clothes to unpack and rearraning todo in the closet, as well as some tidying up but it looks so good so far and im loving it!
