Mother's Day

SO I know most of you ladies ARE momma's but what are you doing for your momma for mother's day?!

Any ideas what the kiddies are doing for you?!


Mike's mom is getting flowers :) Lol. I just don't know what else to do for her sooo flowers it is. Her bday present a month ago took enough brain taxing as it was. My mom....I dont know maybe we'll go get pedis lunch and movie or something. I don't know. Flowers seem lame while I'm home lol

I got nothin' because my mom's birthday was today! So I had a company put a load of penguins and a big sign annoucing her age all over the front lawn while they were sleeping last night! Big surprise, but now I have nothing for Mother's day! We were going to get her a GPS for both, but she already got one so I'm back to square one!

We got mom and mil both cards and I don't know what else to do. I was thinking about sending them flowers but idk yet.

I'm hoping Matt will get me a card or something to make me feel special this year :)

my mom did that with the dang ipod!! I was gunna go thirds with my brothers and she just couldn't wait! I think we're going to do pedis and lunch on me...probably the following weekend since my surgery is on Thur and I don't do sitting well after that for abt a week or so lol

My mom's birthday is today too!!!

Shes in barcelona or spain or italy...actually she's not in any of those because they are on a cruise, but they are in that general area. Either way, I'm off the hook until she comes and visits us later in the month lol.

Mil...well I sent her a nice card in a package with my nephews late birthday present.

my mom and mil are getting cards. we send flowers, for anniversarys, mothers day, thanksgiving christmas and bdays. this year we just dont have the extras we normally have since going on vacation and josh's bday party on saturday. Sooo they can deal LOL, ill take my mom out to lunch next month when we go home after the kids get out of school for summer!! besides william thinks they get enough flowers in the year, haha hes such a guy!

Money's been really tight lately and I'm not sure that I can do the flower thing. Do you think that's selfish and I should just scrounge up a little and send them anyway?

Josh's mom is driving up the 6 hours to come here for the day, not really 'for' Mother's day but just becuase they wanted to, but we are going to BBQ and we are under very strict orders NOT to do anything for mothers day becuase the last few yrs we have done really big stuff for our mom's and they know we just moved and are trying to get a second car right now... Last year we sent them $350 full day spa packages gormet lunch included... the year before we bought them both diamond earings (we went halves on his sis on the earrings) I feel weird not doing anything cool this year, we have such amazing mom's but they have a really good point... we are BROKE, and trying to buy a new car... we bought nice cards... LOL

I have a tea party to go to at Alex's school tomorrow, and I am really excited. ;)

I'm jealous of you girls that have such wonderful mothers. I wish I could say the same, but I haven't spoken to mine since October for various reasons.

Anyways...

I am proud of the military mama's in this group, ya'll are some strong women and I honestly don't know how ya'll do it. I hope all of ya'll have a wonderful Mother's Day because you deserve it!!

My mother has this BIG porch, so we got her a hanging basket. MIL I'm thinking of having the boys call her. She isn't the type to want anything for it, but want to do something. I also took shepard hooks and wind chimes to my two grandmothers and my great grandmothers grave to honor them. I only knew the one but she was really the best!
My boys like to surprise me for mothers day with things they made so I won't know until then!

I just got cards my mine and scotts mom. as far as Rylie...i dont even think that Scott has any freakin clue that he should get me anything.
