so ladies...what is your most romantic memory of you and your s/o??


one of my favorite memories is going hiking with Mike right after we got engaged. It was winter and flurrying and quiet and just us in the woods. I don't think there was anything overly romantic or planned out about it but the connection we had just sitting in the quiet sitting on a cliff over looking the city....just soul finding...and not just my own a merge of our souls as one.

When Adam proposed. I was completely taken off guard I didn't even see it coming. We were dancing to Endless Love and he just got down on one knee. We didn't get married for almost 3 years later though..lol.

I think the number one most romantic thing I've experienced was when Matt graduated BCT we stayed overnight on base with his parents and grandmom. We had just gotten back together after a break for a few months and we stayed up half the night just cuddling and talking in the living room. I had made him a romantic CD of songs that meant something to us or that reminded me of him or us. He is a terrible singer and I've always been in choirs but he just very quietly sang all of these romantic songs to me eyes closed and holding me. It was the sweetest thing ever... especially since it was our first time apart in two years

aweee we have cute men!! Can't say I've ever heard Mike sing but I'd love it!! Even if he were bad (which I'm sure is why I've never heard it!!)

Kira , Mike's proposal was a total shock too!! And I think that makes it romantic in itself!! Makes me smile thinking about it !!

i have 2, first is the proposal, he took me to friendship fountain and said that he cherished our friendship and that at age 7 he didnt know love but when he did he knew it was meant for me. he said he wanted to spend the rest of our lives making our love grow stronger. and asked if i would take that step and love him forever.

the 2nd, we had just missed our 4th anniversary cause he was in iraq, but he was coming home on r & r like 2 wks later, so he had been talking to my bestie at knox and her hubby planning a special night for when he was home. my friend asked to borrow some money. (which was actually the money he needed to pay for hotel) she got the room he told her how he wanted the room decorated and everything. when he got home she had asked if the kids could stay the night, i was clueless. we went to applebees for dinner and then he blindfolded me and took me to the hotel, i was stunned. that he went through all of this to get things done for me. with candles galore, light music and wine, he made a toast to me & we drank out of our wedding glasses that he snuck into his bag and had already had in the trunk of the car. he told me when he called from iraq to tell me happy anniversary that he would make it up to me and he did, in a huge way!

When Josh was in Basic and I went to Fort Knox for Family weekend and he told me to "buy a fancy dress" like I was going to go to a prom, and he was going to wear his greens and take me out to dinner. We went to this Oyster Bar called Z's it was really nice, SUPER expensive, but really sweet... then we spent the weekend in bed ;p

I don't have a story, per se, but I have a quote he made me write down so I'd always remember. :)
