So, I can't really say much right now.

But.

What is the standard for funerals/memorials? If we are to attend a memorial, does my husband have to wear class A's? I don't know that an actual funeral will be held here, theoretically speaking... as this is an overseas station... I am thinking more of a memorial service....

But I am wondering if the dress uniform is required... and if I need to take his shit in to be "squared away"....

Thanks so much.

We went to a funeral last year and most of the guys were wearing Class A's, but my husband didn't have any, so he just wore his ACUs...I don't think anyone really cared, but this was a reserve unit, might be different for active duty. I guess it just depends on the individual units? Hope this helps.

Is it being held by the military or the family? If it's being held by the family I'm sure appropriate civ clothing is fine. If it's being held by the military I would just tell him to check with higher ups and they'll tell them what they want/suggest.

What mere said is correct. Any idea if the family is in charge or is it a military "funeral". Have him check with higher!

We got it figured out. It was a huge cluster F to get everything yesterday. Class A's it is. Uff.
