I just got home and showered. What a long day! Anyway. I'm super disappointed and you all will probably be too. I have no and I mean NO pictures to share. The second night I was there we got into a scuffle in a bar and I broke my flippin camera. I lost the stupid card somewhere when the camera spilled it's guts. Couldn't find it. :(
So I got to NC Friday and sat at the airport waiting for 2 hours. He finally picked me up around 8. We made it 5 minutes down the road and stopped at a Burger King and well uh things got interesting in the bathroom but some lady came in and ruined it so we left. Ended up behind a mall in the truck. lmao!
We stayed on base for like 5 days. Hanging out with his boys and partying. Pool, darts, bowling. Pretty much we just partied down hardcore. Lots of drunken nights closing down the bar and stumbling into Waffle House for 3 am breakfast. During the day we just layed around in his room listening to music and trying to break his bed. hehe.
We finally rented a car Wednesday and got a hotel room that night. Kingsize beds are great for lounging and rolling around but it sucks trying to cuddle up to someone in those things.
We went to Wilmington Thursday night to see some of his friends. Ended up in a bar with a mechanical bull. I did not take part in the bikini bull ride but I did get up on the bar for some trashy dancing. Tom and his buddy literally picked me up put me on the bar and wouldn't let me down. lol! Then we drove back to Jville to sleep in the hotel again.
Friday night we went BACK to Wilmington and caught a really awesome band at one of the bars there. Tom and I danced through most of the night. We had a blast! Then back to Jville again cause he had to pack his stuff so we could leave today.
I have to say that the way we said goodbye today truely broke my heart. We dropped off the rental car and hopped the shuttle to the airport. We flew out on different airlines and Tom said he would come wait with me until our planes were boarding. So the driver stopped at Southwest and he just stood up kissed me real quick and was like I love you girl. And he just left. I burst into tears in front of all these strangers. It was horrible.
I ended up sitting in the airport bar downing shots of whiskey and trying to hide the fact that I was crying until my plane left. Tom said that he thought it would be easier for us if we said goodbye that way. But it made me so sad. He's deploying for 8 months which means more like ten before I see him again. That is not the way I wanted to leave it.
Anyway this is super long. I'm sorry. I have to go back to work tomorrow. And honestly I don't know how long it's going to take me to get used to being alone again. So bear with me if I'm not on that much.
