Hey Ladies,
We’ve encountered and influx of “marketing” posts on the forum. We ask you that you don’t use the forum to advertise your Avon, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef etc. It’s not that we dislike the fact that you’re a small business owner but rather we feel that this isn’t the place to post advertisements for the betterment of your business. People are coming here for help and support, not to be bombarded by advertisements. These are the very posts we delete and kick the writer off the forum based on the means of Spamming.
You MAY however post in your signature something to this affect
“Mere – Your Mary Kay Rep – PM me if you’re interested”
We do not feel that supporting a cause however is considered spam. If you’re walking for the March of Dimes, Breast Cancer Awareness, Diabetes…whatever. If you’re raising money for a charity we feel that this is a cause that should be supported. There is no personal gain from these post. The writer of the post is asking you to support a cause that is near and dear to them for emotional reasons. There are very few of these and as a result we won’t put them anywhere special. You may post them in General talk. If we come upon an increase of these charity type posts we will create an area for these posts.
