but I spoke to Tricare today. I'm trying to get my surgery approved BEFORE Monday....I REALLY don't want to push it back but it looks like I may have to. She told me if it was an emergency they could have it approved in 72 hours....REALLY?!?! I hope I'm not dead before you get me approved thanks!!

Granted my surgery is NOT emergency but I'm sure as hell glad it's not!! Crap....72 hours?!?

I hope they approve me before I move back out to Lewis lmao...

I know I have had things done, and they weren't approved ahead of time, and they have covered it after the fact, (they don't like that at all... but they will do it) I don't know if the hospital will do the surg though without the approval though, thats a diff story.. Tricare BLOWS I am sooo sorry.

Do you have a case manager w/ your PCM? Maybe they can help move it along?

Prime Danie...

Katie, no but my dr's office is really good. When I left last week she told me not to worry she'd get it covered for me. She was funny.

I can't see them not approving it. It's not like I can fix it another way....I've tried all that already. It probably would have saved them money just to surgically remove it from the start instead of paying for me to see the doctor 3+ times a month for it lol

I'm just concerned because I picked my own doctor and skipped all their channels that the balance is going to be more than my parents can handle. Althougth the woman I spoke to at tricare said it should be done at no cost to me. They will cover a certain amount but the doctor is supposed to assume the rest of the cost...but my hospital doesn't take my insurance so I'm not sure they'll go with that if Tricare doesn't cover enough of it you know??

It's just a pain in the ass....

I just really really really don't want to push the surgery back. I just want to do it
