Travel/Misc W2s

I Called Mypay/DFAS this morning to find out WTF is going on with the travel/Misc W-2's as they have not updated what is going on with them since posting they were *coming soon* The answer I received was:


"The W-2's were mailed out on the 26th of January, they will not be posted on line due to software issues we are experiencing. If you do not recieve it in the mail by Fri you should give us a call back, but you will need a POA if you are not the servicemember"


So there ya have it folks... From the DFAS/MYPAY dude... That's whats up....:chinscratch: well jeeez wouldn't that have been easier to just say in the first place???

Please cross your fingers the stupid W-2 gets here soon so I don't have to freak out any longer, and I can file our taxes and stop cussing like a trucker.:oops:

Another update:

Josh called the 1-888 # again today becuase we have yet to get our travel pay W-2 in the mail and frankly I'm just impatient.... I wanted to know if maybe we were waiting around for no reason... LOL Maybe they weren't sending us one.. LMAO.. That would be just our luck. Anyway this is what they told us:

Specifically yes, we were getting one (not so important to you guys) but they were also as we speak posting them online, be patient. (I think I have been freakin patient thanks anyway..) and they should be up soon...

So I go online and check and it still says *Coming soon* but hopefully `soon' it will say they are available.... Just thought maybe for the rest of you in the same bought it might be a ray of hope...

The travel/Misc W-2's are now available online.... so mypay says... :gah:

when I logon and click on it it gives me an error and says they can not locate mine?!?!?! It reads


"Error message NA9 (TRAVEL/MISC)
There is no travel or misc W-2 located. If this is in error, please contact your local finance office, travel office, or customer service representive."

When I click on Travel Voucher Advice of Payment (AOP) it shows the 2 times we were paid Travel pay...We did a Dity move.. SO Ummm... I'm pretty freaking sure we are should be issued a Travel/MISC W-2....WTF?:banghead:

That's what it says for mine too Katie, and we did end up getting ours in the mail. I think you'll be calling back on Monday!

OK that makes me feel a little better. When we got our travel pay we were taxed on it like crazy!!! So it would be really nice if they would freakin give us the W-2 if that is what they are doing this year so I can claim it....
