Hey ya'll!!

My name is Trisha, I am a very proud wifee to Michael my husband of four years. He is currently serving in the Navy and unfortunately deployed at the time. I believe this will be the last deployment for us since his four years are up in 2011. (haha, next year!) He wants to be an aerospace engineer for NASA and since our home is Houston, Texas that is a perfect plan!

I am a full-time student working on my BS in respiratory care, I am going to be a respiratory therapist one day, Woo-hoo! We have a four year old pug named Dexter he is absolutely positively the most spoiled thing I have met thus far. But, I am sure all you ladies with furbabies are thinking the same thing so who really knows, I just know that he is one spoiled dog, ps.. mainly from his daddy!

Well, enough about me I am ready to hear about ya'll.. so spill it girls. (-:

I'm Meredith. I'm a 24 y/o army wife. My husband Mike is on his 4th and final tour with the Army in Iraq. He's been in 8 years. Has no idea what he wants to do post army but we're both really looking forward to it.

I'm working currently as an office assistant which I hate. lol I have a BS in athletic training and I really miss it. But this is only temporary until he gets home :) I'm living at home with my parents, 2 brothers and my moms 2 dogs until mid Aug.

I'm Kathryn..my boyfriend, Justin, is a Marine stationed out in California while I'm here in Texas. PS...I LIVE IN HOUSTON, TX!!!!! lol We've been together for a year now and finished our first deployment together back in August where he was gone for about 8 months. He gets out of the Corps this summer and he will be moving back here! yay! So I'm just waiting around till then..lol I have an almost 6 year daughter named Alexia..she's the most spoiled little girl I know..lol

Really!? I am also from Cypress! Well, sorta...I live in Katy but it's still pretty much Houston. What high school did you go to? I went to Langham Creek. Ya my boyfriend is out at Camp Pendleton...when I flew there to visit him I flew into San Diego and it is gorgeous there! Def way too expensive for my liking though..lol

Yep I graduated '05. I didn't really play any sports in Jr High...nor high school..lol i was in Choir though. I was def part of the "un-cool" group in Jr high..that was before I learned how to dress or learned what a hair straightner was..lmao!

Thanks :) my mom went to confirmation class with a girl named Meredith and she fell in love with the name and well...here I am :) I'm hanging in ok. I'm glad I'm home with my family. Going through that mid tour slump a little bit but he should be home for r&r in June ...maybe April so I'm gettin there :cloudnine: Really the only thing getting me through it is that I know its the last one lol

My husband almost went to Flordia, bummer.. we got stationed at probably the most expensive state besides Hawaii! LOL. But, he went into the Navy as a aviation mechanic and I guess b/c they think he doesn't have perfect depth perception and think he could walk off the flight deck at night, big joke b/c I think he has better depth perception over his friends, he is now a BM.. but everything happens for a reason and there was a purpose for us to be in Cali! It was just a bummer b/c he wanted to be a lifer and fly, his dad and grandpa did, and that was a dream of his. But, he has found another dream so it's awesome! Everything usually works out, agree?

I think that is so cool you guys compromised like that.. I know it can't always work out for both spouses to be in, especially when children are involved!
