Hey all. My name is Paula and my fiancee Brian is currently at Basic Training at Fort Benning, Infantry Division. So...yeah, my future Sister in law Aubrey introduced me, so...here I am! Brian and I have been together almost three years and his contract is set up for three years so we will be getting married while he is still in the military. I am 18 and still in high school and our wedding date is currently set for 12/10/11.

I'm Brooke and my husband is at basic right now too (well, OSUT). He's at Ft Knox, training to be a Cavalry Scout. He joined the Guard, but signed an active first contract with the Army, so he will be AD Army when he is done with OSUT. He signed for 8 years and the active first contract is for 4 years. We have an almost 4 year old daughter, and she and I are just hanging in there waiting for our #1 man to get home!

Hi Paula!

I'm Meredith. I was a December bride too! We were married 12/27/08. My husband has been AD army for 8 years now and we're getting to half way through deployment #4, 2 for me. It's movin really slow right now but it will pick up hopefully.

I'm an athletic trainer by college degree but when you move as often as we do with the army licensing gets to be a pain in the ass. I'm home in NJ for the year while Mike is in Iraq so I'm working for a company that helps cancer and dialysis patients obtain drugs through a patient assistance program -- totally not the office type.

ANYWAY if you couldn't tell I love to talk! Welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll love it here! Feel right at home!

WELCOME! Im kristi 21 and married to my soldier! Hes currently in Iraq and Im here in Missouri finishing up nursing school. I used to run cross country and track here, but Im taking a year of forced no physical activity really for a injury I developed! After I graduate Ill be comissioned into the army nursing corps myself and hubby and I will FINALLY get to live together!

Welcome! I'm kathryn(22)..my boyfriend is a us marine and is stationed out in california at camp pendleton while I live here in texas. We finished our first deployment back in august where he was gone for 8 months. He gets out of the corps sometime this summer and I can't wait to have him home for good :)

Welcome! I'm Mary(21 in 2 weeks), been with my soldier Matt(20) for 4 1/2 years now and we've been married for 9months. He's AD Army and we're stationed at Fort Wainwright, AK. We just finished up our first deployment of 12 months and are all settled in to our new home. We have no children yet and our apartment unfortunatly does not allow pets. He's been in for 2 1/2 years and we have about another 4 1/2 to go! I'm getting ready to go back to college and in the search for a new job :)
