I want to see this movie! I've had the book for over a year now and I've never read it..lol But I'm going to start today and the movie comes out next month. I love Nicholas Sparks!

I read the book and bawled through half of it. Totally DOES NOT end the way I thought it would! (If you read my sisters keeper then watched the movie you will get what I mean. My perception of what would happen and what really did were 2 complete opposite things)

and just from the previews... there are soooooooooooooo many things different from the book and the movie :( Im still going to watch it though! Who can pass up channing tatum shirtless??? NOttt me lol

I can't wait to start reading the book tonight..I read other books from him and I always cry..but I have a feeling this one is gonna hit kinda close to home with the whole military thing..lol Oh yea, and channing tatum looks delicious in the movie..ahh! can't wait!

Actually Kathryn its not too bad, there really isnt tons about the military and his deployment in there, which suprised me casue from what I can tell the movie is mostly about him being in the military!

it was an AMAZING book though!

I am starting the book when I get back to AK. I started it a while ago, but never really finished it because of school.. but now I have like 3 weeks before the movie. Which IRONICALLY lands on our 6 year anniversary... hmmn Guess who gets a date night?!?! Haha!

But no, I have heard the book is really good. I saw one preview of the movie and got teary eyed... so I'll prolly have to put a box of kleenex next to me when I read the book... HORMONES!

Well I just finished it. and you were right Kristi..it didn't end at all the way I expected/wanted it too! WOW!!! lol I dont want to say much bc i dont want to give away anything to everyone else wanting to read it..but...JEEZ! I don't really know what to feel about the ending..it kinda sucked how things worked out...gah!

Kathryn I bought it when it came out...when Mike deployed the last time...couldn't bring myself to read it. I read it over the summer and bought a copy at Target and FORCED my brother's gf to read it so we could go see the movie together. She read it in less than a week, finished it yesterday and yelled at me about the ending lol. The ending blows I hate it...but Nicholas Sparks isn't really known for his endings lol...they're all pretty sad. Great story tho!!

You crack me up Katie! I absolutely love Channing... He's my dream ex husband... because Evan's my husband now... lol

As for the book, I downloaded it on my reader, but haven't read it yet... I need to and really want to... with the visual of Channing... I am going to start it tonight!
