Holy Moly!!!

I JUST got home from work! It's 845! I had the craziest day ever! I got to work things were quiet until I was getting ready to leave the girls for the boys game. Girls coach comes running in with an athlete bleeding from THE EYE!!! She's been to the ER and it's a laceration on the inside of the eye lid. She got two fingers shoved in there. I'm glad it was nothing more but I was like holy cow this is the first time I've never seen a bleeding eye!!! SOOO then I get to the game a little late kids are all amped up. They've already lost to this team twice so it's not looking good but they have a chance. Spend MOST of the game behind pull ahead in the 4th quarter and at the end of the quarter the other team ties it up. They spend most of over time down by like 6 points (over time is 4 minutes long) Other team is shooting foul shots and winds up up by 2 points with 2 seconds left to go. Our best player is benched, fouled out. Kid gets to half court shoots a 3 at the buzzer to win the game!! The kids went CRAZYYYYY. It was so exciting to watch it was great! They're a little beat up but they're totally amped!! GREAT day at work....minus our little eye issue! lol

I saw a guy with a stick... i guess twigg is a better term... shoved in his eye one time... somehow he missed every major part of his eye and was okay but it was bleeding and looked like something you only see in a horror movie! lol.


Speaking of "your kids"... remember when we voted like crazy to get them game of the week... did it ever happen?

lol when they bought her in I thought to myself....oh god. dont let that be so gross I puke!! lol But it actually was NOWHERE near as bad as it could have been. So that's good! I was actually rather proud of how I handled it even though I called my boss for a little guidance!

Here is the boys team. I'm still looking for some of the girls team. We're the blue team. Bellarmine Lions. Number 3 is our all American and signed with a D1 school last year and his little brother is number 11 and he's the one who shot the 3 pointer the other night for the win.

ps these pictures are from their holiday tournament in December I think.

And it doesn't look like there are any pics of the girls. Which is funny considering their the "better" team. The boys have scraped by the last few games and the girls have consistently beaten almost everyone they've met in playoffs by 15-20 points (minus the one game they lost).
