New NC State Laws come in to effect today

I understand the texting but I don't know that I totally understand the no license plate frame thing mind you I only skimmed tha article.. I'm sure there is a good reason for them doing it...

Katie, I figured this was it but I took this from the article:
"The license plate law prohibits frames that obscure the state name or the expiration date sticker. "

I guess you can have a frame it just can not obscure:
"General Manager Chris Morgan of Lee Hyundai in Fayetteville said he has discarded his old frames, which had the words "Lee Hyundai" covering the "North Carolina" on the tags. He ordered a new design that complies with the new law."

OH oki I get it now, I just barely skimmed the article. It makes perfect sense now. lol still highly medicated from yesterday, reading is not my strong suit today.. lmao

Texas approved a similar license plate law years ago when we lived there. I mean, it only makes sense...

yeah they're illegal in most places I think...Vermont took mine off when they switched my WA plates out
