Yeeaah there are some days that it REALLY sucks. Poor Nick called today and said this was his worst day in Iraq because he missed me so much. I was seriously so scared someone had gotten shot or something. Jerk.

Mary Cat

I think I get more upset about what he has to put up with then just missing him though
Working 14 hour days... not having off for weeks at a time... I just want to jump through the computer and take him and hold him until he feels better

i def made it clear to my friends--i dont wanna hear abut how you havent seen your guy in sooooo long....pssh...go months and THEN talk to me lol.

its hard, it sucks, its the hardest thing ive ever done--but i can honestly say joey and i have grown so much from it,and come so far. its made me alot stronger of a person.i remember how hard it was for me when he first deployed...i was a weakling no doubt-and now i feel like superwoman! even though i still have my bad days and nights of crying.

not everyone can do what our men do-but just like them...no everyone can do what WE do ladies.

3 cheers for the silent ranks!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

but um yes...

DEPLOYMENTS SUCK! :mafia:

My friends KNOW not to say anything to me, I have no sympathy for them at all anymore
(WHen they miss their men that is lol)
But Silent Ranks are some of the strongerst people in the world! :woohoo:
We rock ladies

Lana

I agree, Kelly. Nick and I have never been so close or so happy! I don't really think we've had a serious fight since he's been in Iraq... not because I don't want to fight - but because we're so close that we can just talk about things without blowing up at each other. It's amazing. I hate the fact that he can't be home - but I'm really happy we're able to finally communicate!

Deployments majorly suck!!!

What gets me is when someone tells me they "know how I feel" because their bf/gf/spouse has been gone for two weeks because they went on vacation or to visit family and they couldn't go because of work or school. Give me an 'effin break, are you serious???? There is no comparison to someone going on vacation or visiting a family member. If they tell me their "fill in the blank" is gone and they can't believe how long it is going to be until they see them, it doesn't bother me anywhere as near as much. As soon as the words come out that they know how I feel, I just want to smack the sh*t out of them!!
