thank you girls. i'm used to him being gone cuz where he is deploying in dec he has had a lot of different trainings he is actually not at home right now and wont be until nov 20th. he has just left but i already miss him like crazy =[ this will be the first christmas being married and he won't be at home he will be away at training. I may fly down there to be w. him but not quite sure how that works!?!

Not sure how the flying would work either... I mean depends on what type of training I guess he is at. If he knows he will have the day off for xmas... who knows! But if he wont have the day off.. .I say save the moolah!

they have christmas off! is what has at this time been said! they where supposed to have time off for christmas but now i guess if they come home it takes away from there R&R time soo yeahh idk..

i'm sarah(29) married to christopher(28) who is a blackhawk mechanic in the army. he is deployed to afghanistan out of fort bragg NC. i am in PA during this deployment, then its back to bragg! we have 2 boys, aaron(7) and riley(1.5).

I'm Kathryn! My boyfriend, Justin, is in the Marines and is stationed out in California while I'm here in Texas. We just finished our first deployment back in August..he was gone for about 8 months.

These group of girls are soo amazing! I don't know how I would of stayed sane during the deployment without their help..lol

hi ashley! im lindsay (20) and my SO aaron (23) is in the army national guard. he just got back from a 9 month deployment a little over a month ago. im at college right now, i graduate next fall.

i need some help.. soo i'm going to see him at Camp Atterbury for christmas and the closest airport is Indianapolis what would be the cheapest transportation to get there?? does anybody have any clue?

um... how far of a drive is it? if you have a military id... maybe renting a small car with unlimited mileage? You will have a under 25 fee added to it, but JM rented one for about $35 a day...

i have a military ID but i'm only 19 and dont you have to be like 21?? but i found a shuttle that goes to the airport so i wil prolly take that. and the hotel i'm staying at is like 3 miles from the base!

i think the tax is more expensive then the shuttle. god they always want our money! haha
