Hair disaster

So here are some pics of the disaster that is now my hair. It looks waaaaay better straight as when it is curly is is HUGE areas that is discolored... lmfao. These pics honestly don't do it justice, you can't really see HOW orange it is in some spots and how bright GOLD it is in others...And way to make the highlights look like they already have 6 wks of regrowth... Gahh.. I am going to stick to doing my own hair from now on seeing I aparently know more than the stylist... IDIOT!

Ever here the expression "You are your biggest critic" I think that def applies here! Your hair looks awesome and if you saw my roots you would lecture the crap outta me! Although there is no reason for a "professional" to eff up roots that bad!

heck my hair is brown right now and you can see the pink still shining through (pink turned purple though) So i have brown hair with a purple highlight to it that stops half way down my head. So i still think your smexy. Even if your hair was lime green!!

Thank you! I am a redhead again..lol. I colored over the highlights they were really bothering me. When I straighten my hair your still gonna be able to see really subdle spots that are lighter than others but that is ok.


When I straighten my hair colleen, I just use a round brush and a blow dryer, for me it works 1k times better than a flat iron, and i have SUPER curly hair too!

I use a round brush too! lol but I have like stick straight hair so it gets some volume up there!

Ok, I agree that your hair is awesome and I wish I had it. I thought it was naturally straight so you do a damn fine job of straightening it!!

I know this is a little off topic, but I have really wavy hair. I was wondering for all of you ladies who do straighten your hair how you do it. I have been flat ironing my hair and I have to admit I like it and I am getting better at doing it, but.... here is the problem... I get lots of little fly aways. I use the thermacare spray on my hair before I flat-iron it. Is there something I am doing wrong? Please help!!

I would suggest blow drying it with a round brush instead, but if you are going to use a flat iron use a finishing spray at a distance of like 8-10 inches away, something with shine would be best, and run your fingers through it for a min where you have the fly aways, if all else fails by a seperate toothbrush, to keep just for your hair, (this is especially good when fly aways occur with your hair up.. Spray a dab of hairspray on the brush, and gently brush the spot of fly away.

I don't think it looks bad. And like everyone said, you are so gorgeous and I'm sure it's not your hair people are checking out. And at least it's just color and not a horrible cut. I had a lady butcher my cut before. Like 1 inch bangs butcher. Color can be fixed! But like I said, I like it!
