Well ladies?! How did we do this week?? I've been doing a shitty job keeping up with you all so I hope you're hanging in there!!

I lost 3.5 lbs this week! I'm so excited! Even the "fat pants" my mom bought me for work are baggy already! WOO HOO!!

I'm having trouble drinking the amount of water they say you should drink. It makes me feel ...blegh.

Hope you all did well also!

How are you ladies doing? What has worked well for you? What are you struggling with?? I promise I'll check in tonight and see how you're all doing!!

I think I just maintained this week. I didn't do too bad, but didnt get any work outs in either...

Maintaining is great!! Especially for not working out!!

i lost 2 lbs. and i didnt work out it was just cutting out junk food.

i normaly eat a lot of junk food.

i showed it to my mom and she said its a lot like weight watchers just set up differently. I like it cause it "grades" you on your nutrition for the day and it shows you what yuo did well and what you could do better ie...missing protein or...water but your carbs and cals were on target.

I like it. It's working well for me :) Even just to see the grade go up and down as I add what I ate for the day helps...i added oil and vinegar to and sandwhich and my grade hit the floor lol...no more oil and vinegar hahaha

You spend most of your day sitting or driving (e.g. computer professionals, office workers, students, homemakers)

Apparently we spend most of our days sitting. LOL.

lol I'd have to say that a homemaker is a heck of a lot different than a sahm! You're running after kids and cleaning up just so they can mess it up and you can start all over again! How many wives are out there with no job and no kids who after cleaning (if they even do that) sit around eat and watch soaps all day?? I can say I'm GUILTY when I was off for the summer!! ...I think that's what they mean by homemaker!

But yes I hope not too many people read into it!

For the record, I got a C yesterday because of the trail mix I devoured. Today is going better.

I'm going to go drink water to up my grade lol

i can't seem to drink that much water! lol make sure you read why you get what you got! cause you can make little changes that will help your grades :)

Wow..so I missed the whole start week and all...and really how about we start with I'm at 135 .. and we'll see where I am at in 5 months after BCT/AIT? LOL

Good work tho ladies, I know water is the hardest habit to get into (believe me I've finally gotten on track with it almost 2 months after I started to TRY and drink more water)

I found really that the best solution is to just refuse to drink anything else for awhile. When you want that glass of milk with spaghetti, pour a glass of ice water - when you want to diet soda (or if like me I only drank it for the caffeine because coffee makes me sick) - which is SO high in sodium making us bloated- grab a water bottle. If you buy bottle water in cases and then always keep some in the fridge it makes it appear that water is the more convenient option ..you kind of trick you mind - rather than "fixing a glass of something" you can just grab a bottle (and either recycle them literally, or refill them and switch the bottles out once a month -then your not wasting the money, but you always have a fresh cold bottle of water on hand!)
Remember too - they have those flavor packets at an grocery store - I personally like the propel packets or there is a green tea - peach/mango one to boost metabolism made by crystal light - and you really if anything are adding to the benefits of water, not loosing them, so then you can have some flavor and a variety to help increase your water intake...

those are some things that have helped me - so I wanted to share. Keep up the work ladies ...

oh Kela!! I drink the crystal light metabolism one when I go to the gym...or well i was when i was in WA...I have some left tho!

I'm tryinngg to drink more water but its not always fun haha

I'm not doing so hot. I'm going to jazzercise 2/3 nights a week with mom for a workout which is ok but I feel like I need to run but I'm feeling a little squeezed on time. I just like food so much!

Ok, so I got to go see my husband gaduate BCT and he is so HOT and so TONED and so many muscles and WOW! I am like 5'3 and 200 pounds thanks to laziness, LOL and four kids! but since my last one is now 8 that is now excuse, so seeing him makes me think crap I really gotta get in better shape, some sweet hot "thang" is gonna take him! that is not likely he loves me to no end, but ya know seeing him so hot makes me feel like a cow! So i have an elliptical at home, just need to get on it!
So enough rambling I am going to try and start at least a couple times a week! I am so glad to find this site, maybe it will help me a little to get off my A**!

yup yupp .. up you get! if you're reading this, i encourage/challenge you to skip out on fast food for the week, drink nothing but water or milk, and go get yourself another 2mile walk in this week or multiple times if you schedule allows!! :)
