Hey Ladies!!
I'm back in the eastern time zone for awhile!! My mom and I picked up the puppy this morning and were home by 330 this afternoon. We sat outside and played with the dogs for awhile. Lucas (he's the 11 y/o dog) isn't too thrilled but it could be way worse. He's tolerating her but looking at us like "um excuse me? when is she leaving?" lol. She's totally adorable!! If you didn't see the pics I put up on FB I'll post some soon!
I'm totally exhausted. It's been a super long trip and I'm glad to be back here. My mom as a lot of you know, painted my bedroom. It still needs the baseboards painted and all of my brother's shit moved out of it so I can settle in so there's still a lot of work to be done. I'm not loving it. I'm feeling really displaced and extrememly disorganized.
My friend juts called and told me she would let me go because I sound tired and preoccupied...which was about the long and the short of it.
On top of the puppy and driving from Buffalo NY to NJ (about 6.5 hr drive) my step MIL wrote me an email that FIL is in the hospital. He felt like crap and went to the dr and they sent him straight to the emergency room because they thought he had a blood clot in his lungs...turns out to be several blood clots and one or two that are quite large and they discovered another one in his leg today. He travels A LOT for work but other than that I have no idea what it could be! I'm trying to just stay out of the way and do as I'm asked. They asked me to let Mike know ASAP about what was going on. I was worried about him. I know he doesn't like that stuff but he usually handles it really well. He got to talking to his sister about the details I didn't have and emailed back and forth with his dad a few times. So hopefully he's not worrying too much! From step MIL...sounds like FIL is going to be just fine with some rest, blood thinners, and a little life style change. Either way, please keep him in your thoughts. It would destroy Mike to lose him.
I guess I'm just cranky. It's been a long week and I've got a lot still to do and I can't go to bed until my older brother gets home from work because I don't know how to use the futon that's in my room....nor does anyone else but him or his gf. Neither of whom are here!!! lol
Anyway I'm babling a ton. I've missed you girls sooooooo much!! Hope you had a great week!!
