Had a very crappy day yesterday. I woke up and barely made it to the bathroom to throw up. I was weak and dizzy. Sweat was pouring off me and then I would freeze. My stomach was hurting so bad I was crying. I got to my recliner and couldn't do anything else.
Hubby called about 3 times and I couldn't get up to get my phone. I finally made it and all I could say was, sick, puking bye. He knew I wouldn't go to the hospital as I'm not fond of them so what does he do. He calls the sheriff and they send an ambulance. Then he calls our daughter and she meets me at the hospital.
They checked me all over, poked me 3 times for IV and blood, then gave me some good drugs! We all thought it might be the peanut butter I ate because of the recall but no. I have a gall stone. Feel way better today. Have to go for an ultra sound next week to be sure. Just glad the pain is gone. Who the hell has gallstones? Isn't that an old people thing! lol

Vicky,
I am so glad to hear you are feeling better. That is so scary! Did they/are they going to remove your gallbladder? I don't know if that is the usual practice, but most people I have heard of who had gallstones had to have it removed. Maybe that is if you have more than one. Please take care of yourself, and I will pray your ultrasound is clear!!
Sorry for rambling, it's just been one of those days LOL.

I had gallstones. I had the pain when i was preggers with david. That was the worse pain in the world. I'd rather go through labor with no drugs and have a 15 lb baby then to do that again. So i had my gallbladder removed. I feel soooo much better now. The doc told me it was because i gained then lost weight real fast. GL

Your hubby is on top of things! Way to go Bruce! As for gallstones, they are not an old person thing. LOL While I have never had them, I had to go through preventive treatment for them because after my surgery, I could have developed them. One way to develop them is if you lose weight at a rapid pace. I was 28 years told. LOL So, not they are not for old people. I'm glad you are feeling better and again, yay to Bruce for calling the paramedics!!!!!
Glad you're home from the hospital and feeling better!
