Soo ladies I came home for the weekend! I switched my daddy trucks so I can get a new transmission put in mine :( Poor truck. I love that beast though... despite her being 11 years old... this is the only repair work besides new tires and a few small things here and there we have had to do in the 5 years I have owned it! So I didn't want to trade it in for another used vehicle... I know my truck is good, so why take the chance??? But I am sooo excited it is getting fixed, Ill pick it up in a week when I come home for my Dr. appt... but at least there won't be bright red puddles under it every time I go to drive it somewhere now!!

My kitty cat PICKLE wants to say something to you girls... she is on my shoulder staring at the keyboard cause I'm typing on it... l;aie <---That is what she had to say to you all! Lol.

It was good to come home. A lot has happened over this past week, and I do not care to really get into it. Lets say that I have suddenly came to the realization that about 3 people on campus who I would have done anything for last year, and did do so much for them I have NO respect for anymore after what went down. It has torn our ROTC program apart, and the distance part of the track team too. I also came to realzie that when you are the number one runner on your team, are redshirted and coach lifts your redshirt to make you run one meet, and you still beat everyone who has been training and should be in top shape and you are NO WHERE NEAR IN SHAPE... a lot of jealously comes out... so needless to say much of my track team was talking shit on me all day today... and I didn't even run very good... but oh well, whatever. I don't need them in my life, track means nothing after college anyways... (funny story... a girl on the track team, who also does ROTC with me... and flunked out of the nursing program cause she is an idiot asked coach to completely rearrange room arrangments at the hotel cause the meet was a 2day one... because SHE DIDN'T WANT TO ROOM WITH ME... hello I wasn't at the meet the first day, i live a hour away, why would I stay in the hotel that night?!?!?!.. keep in mind this is the girl who last year when her labs and ROTC interfered with practice, i skipped team practice to run with her so she wouldn't have to run on her own every day... and this is the kind of treatment I get in return...)

I got to see my friend Abby, and buy her things for her baby shower!!! YEAH!!! I had a HAYDAY with that! I'm taking it to her tonight around 1030 when she gets off work!

Anyways... it was good to come home! I got to sleep in my own bed... see both my cats, my dog, and my fishies!!!!! Plus John-Mark has been super super sweet the last 2 days I have been at home! It was just a much needed break!

I guess tomorrow is back to school... and TONS of homework since I didn't do any at home lol. Love you girls!

As much as I say I love being 3 hours away from home at college... its just good sometimes to come home and see my family.

:bighug:

I'm glad you had a good visit at home! Being close to home is nice! When we were in Washington, we were an 8 hour drive from my moms (the hour flight was easier). It was nice to go home every 6 months or sooner sometimes.

As hard as it is, college is a lot like high school when it comes to the drama and the competitiveness! I hope it gets better hun!
