To Be Navy Wife?

Hi,
My name is Lindsey, Kristi Rae showed me this forum and told me i should add myself.
Well, I'm 18, going to be 19 on the wedding day....in May. Kevin and I have known eachother since the beginning of high school, we never really told eachother of what we really felt for each other until he went into the navy...over to italy, that's when i woke up and told him how much i felt for him and how much i didn't want to lose him. So finally we decided to get married, he proposed in april 2009. Kevin is...well, tall dark and handsome, but I'm sure we all feel similar about our military boyfriends/fiances/husbands...etc. He's really into the transformers movies and linkin park...and he's totally gotten me into them...haha.
Well, I was born in San Francisco, I moved to Ohio and grew up there, I was raised Jewish, had my Bat Mitzvah, new a bunch of Hebrew and then decided I didn't like organized religion, so I consider myself agnostic. That doesn't mean I don't have faith. I went to High school and that where i met Kevin, all my best friends, my matron of honor "Kristi Rae" HI KRISTI!!!!!!!!
Well, I Don't know what else to include here....oh yes, I'm moving to italy with Kevin after we get Married and hopefully that's where I will start to fine tune my cooking, because thats what i want to do with my life. cook. okidoki, I think that says it all

The very first time my mom saw Kevin...didn't even talk to him. She told me I was going to marry him. I didn't believe her, I was a freshman, and I wasn't thinking about that. Now, look where I am, I've got a ring on my finger and a wedding dress in safe keeping at Kristi's house. I'm in love.:rockon:

Congrats on the engagement and soon to be wife of Kevin :) :) My name is Heather (22) and used to date a marine Matt (23) long story short he was a marine and just came back from his first deployment. He is re-enlisting and soon to be deployed again.

Anyways: I go to St.Cloud State University in MN and am originally from Duluth, MN pursuing a degree in Finance.

I'm Meredith, everyone here calls me Mere. I'm a 23 y/o army wife. We're stationed at Ft Lewis, WA. I graduated college with a BS in athletic training and that's what I did last school year. I'm currently unemployed cause I'm waiting for Mike to deploy again (4th time, he's been in 7 years) after he leaves I'll be headed back to NJ to stay with my family while he's away. I'm hoping to get into an online masters in teaching program and get that under way while he's gone.

Thanks you guys!!!! I'm so happy to be on here...being a ...well "soon to be" military wife can be hard to deal with sometimes. He's all the way in Italy, and I'm here, by myself. My name is Danielle. I go by Danie. I am a Navy Vet. I served 8 years, during which, I met my wonderful husband and had 2 beautiful kids. Colton is 3.5, and Kennedy is 15 months. We are currently in Florida and will be until 2012 sometime. I'm going to school to start/complete an Associates to be a Registered Nurse. I'm excited about it.

I'm Mary 20 and married to my soldier Matt 20. He's currenlty on a 12 month deployment in Iraq. We've been together for 4 1/2 years and married for about 4 months. We're originally from NJ but we're currently stationed at Fort Wainwright, AK.
