There was talk about tats in another thread so I thought I'd ask. I have 3 so far. I have a large wolf head on my left shoulder, a dream catcher on the front of my right leg that was free from Jones Soda Company and a Horny horse on my right arm. I will be getting at least one more. Cade asked if him, his sister and I all could get one that is related. He also is getting one with his Dad.

How many do you have and what are they?

I have a tramp stamp on my lower back of a chain of daisys and vines and on my upper back, between my shoulders is a green Celtic Cross.

I have 7 tattoos... wouldn't have guessed huh... lol

I have Phantom of the Opera on my right outer shoulder/arm,

An infinity symbol at the base of my neck/upper back,

A colorful sun on my lower back,

My son's handprint at 9months old, on my left shoulder,

his name above it,

I have a floral viney print on the tops of each foot wrapping around my ankle bone.

1. butterfly right below bikini line on the left
2. 3 stars right below bikini line on the right
3. sun/moon/stars along with 'H.S.' on my hip
4. two doves, one holding a broken heart,one holding a peace sign,and both with tears in their eyes on my back
5. angel wings taking up my right side on my rib cage, with my maiden name initals down the middle in old english : KML
6. a cross on my right breast,covering the scar from my biopsy and sitting right on top of my lump
7. Matthew 28:20 on my right wrist
8. **my newest i had done last week** a nautical star, instead of it alternating black witha solid color, it alternates black wth the american flag, and across the top, my new last name--its on my foot. (and i cant post pics cause of OPSEC but its on my FB--sounds weird cause its hard to explain)

im at work so i dont have pics on this computer, but ill try todo it soon ;)

I know what you mean. I feel like I have really fell behind. I have the Libra sign on my left inner ankle, bones and bear teeth around my left wrist, a six inch tiger sitting on a rock on the back of my right calf, and a red, white, and somewhat blue eagle holding a banner with my husband's name in it. He has an eagle with my name too. A present we got right before the first deployment.

I also have a wonderful tramp stamp..it's a butterfly with tribal design on the sides. I was 17 when I got it and totally regret it..lOL

I also have my daughters name (Alexia) on top of my left foot in script. It's def my favorite tattoo!!

I want more!!! I want something on top of my other foot..I also want a side piece...maybe a cherry vine or something..and something on the back lower part of my neck. I'm waiting for Justin to ge back from deployment before I get it though. He wants one too so we are just gonna go together to do it.

I have a rose on my right lower hip right above my underwear line. I am gettin something on my foot in March and I want something on my back and after I have all my kids I want their footprints walking up my ribs Jamie freaked when I wanted a tramp stamp! Haha so I guess that's out!

I honestly had no idea it was called that until like a year after I had it..LOL I've also heard of a new slang word for it. I heard it on the radio. Some call the tattoo's "Ass Antlers"...Hahah

I have a black heart on the inside of my left ankle and a yellow ribbon on the inside of my right. Maybe I'll get another one some day! Mike has 5 though and plans on getting 2 more when he gets home, so we'll see!

I have the infamous tramp stamp as well..which I got when I was too young. haha.. it's a hawaiian flower aka hibiscus, but it doesn't look great so I want to get it fixed. I also have a small moon and star low on my right hip.

I'm guilty of the "tramp stamp" as well. I was also young. It's a pretty big butterfly, lots of detail work inside the wings. It's really pretty, but not something I still want when I'm 80, or hell when im 40. lol. I also have my daughter's name (Emma) in script on my right wrist. I'll have to post pics later. They are addicting so I'm sure there will be some more to come.

Evan has an amazing tattoo! He got a portrait done while in Vegas of when Colton was about 9 months old, he got it over his heart.

i have 14.

1/2- paw prints on my foot

3/4- angel wings on my ankle [outside]

5- green bow on my ankle [inside]

6- 'i'll see you again' and a support ribbon on my other foot

7- music note on my wrist

8- devil on my ribs

9- a big piece on my other side of the ribs [angel/reeper in a grave scene]

10- tribal dragon in the shape of a heart on my neck

11- clover on my hip

12/13- mac & bloo, cartoon characters from foster's home for imaginary friends

14- 'be strong' on my ribs which is actually in the process of being covered up by my big piece. i will probably be getting it tattooed somewhere else. it's an important tattoo to me.

i have plans to get a tribal phoenix bird. i also want to get a branch of bleeding heart flowers somewhere. and i will be getting the devil covered up at some point because well it's smoking something. and while i thought i'd be doing that forever i have since stopped and it's no longer a part of my life. it's cute and i love it, don't get me wrong, but it gives off the wrong impression. it's small and hidden, but i'd be happier if t were covered up.

i don't regret any of my tats. i absolutely adore all of them. they are all me. my body is my canvas and i'll paint it or leave it blank as i see fit. all of my tattoos have a very important meaning to me. i'm addicted, what can i say.

and when i'm not at work i will post some pictures and explain a bit about what they mean to me. :)

i have 2...a hibiscus flower which i got in hawaii on my left hip
and a heart and star that i got at beach week which looked like SHIT and my mom said that it looked like a jailhouse tattoo ...haha so i got them colored in last january and got live laugh love under it.

I got a star and my cousin's name [Kees] on my left hip
He was tragically killed and once I got the tattoo I felt at peace
It's small & simple but works for me!

I only have 1 right now but Matt and I are getting tattoos together on our honeymoon :)
The one I have now is a red heart with the word "amor" which means love in it and a music note with a rose going up the stem also inside the heart.
It was basically supposed to stand for "Love of Music" as I call it

I promised a few ladies I'd draw up my next one and post it so I'll do that soon
I deffinately want like 2 or 3 more though
Matt only has one but he's getting a few more as well

i've thought about it long and hard and i know its
what i want and its simple but hey its me

just the word "FAITH" in black cursive
letters going up the side of my right foot [like on the top of my foot]
because sometimes life doesn't always go the way we have planned
and we just gotta not worry about things and have faith
that in the end it will all work out and be ok

and i have also been contemplating getting one on my wrist :S
that would hurt like a sunnabitch tho....
i'd get it on the inside of my wrist and it would be a pair of
haircutting shears and it'd say "shear genius"
haha i think its hilarious and it goes with my profession lol
and ive been told that a time or too
and i would get it more of the humor factor not the cocky ego factor of it haha

The inside of your wrist doesn't really hurt believe it or not. My lower back hurt 20 times more than my wrist did. Guess it all depends on your tolerance as well.

I was told that the foot is one of the most painful places to get a tattoo so I was really scared..lol But it really didn't hurt at all! My lower back hurt worse than my foot. I even went back a year later and had them go over her name again to make it darker because it was fading. lol and i've gotten my back done 3 times because the color was fading on it..lol So I've been in the chair a total of 5-6 times but only have 2 tattoos..Lol

My feet hurt like a mo-fo... but it's all over the top and side of my foot and my ankle bone. And I got it done in Guam...so who knows if things were up to code or not. But my low back didn't hurt near as bad. I think it's different for each person. My feet hurt!

The only thing that made mine hurt is because it felt like he had a stick and was digging it into my skin and then scrubbing it with gravel. But it wasnt nearly as painful as i thought it was going to be.

It is a bunch of hair dressers who battle to win 250,000 dollars (or maybe it is 100,000 dollars) and a contract spread in a magazine. They also win a bunch of products. It is hillarious to watch them fight over silly things. I usually DVR them and watch them at night. If I am having a bad day, it really helps put a smile on my face. Call me sadistic.... LOL

i've got three! I think my first which is on my hip hurt the most. Its 3 ducks... a mom and 2 babies and their shadow forms the letters "N.W." my second is a bow on my inner right ankle (hmmmm wonder who else has one like that! lol) and my third is the saying No Regrets inside angel wings on my right side. I want to add more to that but I'm not sure what just yet! Charlie has an amazing cross on his inner forearm that I absolutely love! You know my dad calls a tramp stamp a target or bullseye! haha

I've heard that but someone debunked it on a mom group i'm on. I'm sorry if i have a tramp stap and they try to not let me have a epidural....omg there would be some dead doctors

With regards to the epidural some places don't like sticking a needle in a tat. Not really sure why but my husband has run into this a few times since he has large ones on both shoulders. My mother in-law who was a nurse says its probably be cause if you had a reaction or someone messed up it could mess up the tat etc.

HA HA Sphar .... I know.. I use to want to keep them all small and discreet. but then I caved to my desire to be covered in cherry blossoms.. lmao.

The meaning:

photo 1: Boys names with symbols for pride and joy
2. Two hearts 1 Love, with a clover in it becuase josh and I are super Irish
3 & 4 Cherry Blossoms. Deep meaning here, but I think I have shared before.
5 The Butterfly I got durring my divorce, to symbolize a new me
6.Symbol for Mother & kids initials
7. Lipstick lips on my hip.. I dunno why..lol
8. Symbol for strength, & Medical Alert.

i realized I forgot two as well.. LFMAO
THe tramp stamp was my first tat, and I am really not all that fond of it anymore, I can think of such better things to take up that space, and Then years later RIGHT before Josh and I got married I got his name too (I KNOW I KNOW) But I love it. He teases me that for the rest of my life when some dude checks out my ass they know it belongs to him.. lmao.

Funny I was married for 5 yrs before and never would have dreamt of it. But here is the thing... HE is my absolute best friend, he has been since I was 14. He will always have such a huge impact on my life even if god forbid somehting happens. I believe you only have one true soul mate and he is mine. I have no probs with it being there, his is my name covering his forearm, he also has a cartoon of me on his leg. I showed you all that dint I?

Oh and I was just rereading thebegining part of the thread.

I have tats pretty much everywhere spread out on my body, upper lower spine, hip bones, color bones, back of shoulder blades, several on my wrist and arch of foot. I really had no probs with any of them with the exception of two.... The arch of my foot was HORRID.. it hurt like hell durring but that wasn't the worst, it was when it swelled, my foot was so big it was shiny, wouldn't fit in shoes, i couldn't walk on it (literally felt like I broke my foot) It was bad. But i am contemplating what i want on the other foot.....lol The only other spot that hurt was on the tip of my shoulder/colar bone.... oooooweee... and the very bottom part of my shoulderblade. My tat guy kept saying your so tough nothing this whole time except jammin out to your ipod... no faces nothin... then he hit one of those spots and I looked him right in the eye and said "YES SIR CAN I HAVE ANOTHER!!!!" he died laughing and we all took a break. I am not sure why it took so long but i was in the chair for 12 hours with my cherry blossoms.

one up mushroom from Mario Bros on the inside of my right wrist.
my dads bass on the upper part of my left arm
