the in-laws are getting joey and I one made for our wedding gift! A photo quilt! This lady makes it very personal; shes been asking a lot of questions about joey and I, things we like, about us,ect—she needs about a month to make them, and throughout the process sends pictures to make sure you like how it looks,and the placement of everything! We’re getting Matthew 28:20 put on it, as well as our wedding date and names hand embroidered on it! im getting a twin sized, and she puts around 30 pictures on it!

like I said shes very sweet,and makes it very personal! So I thought I’d pass it along :flyinangel:

please do! that sounds so nice! My brother got one for my mom for Christmas but its just like one big picture (that I look horrible in so I hate it lol) and I wanted to get her one like that so I could have multiple pictures on there

anyway so yes i'd really like to see how yours turns out! such a cute idea for your wedding present though!

oh those are so neat, my grannys friend has one she had made of her dad who passed away with pictures of him as a baby up to his time in the army and so on! it was the coolest thing i had ever seen, its been a few years since ive seen her, but thanks for sharing!!!

haha yes a-m i know :) i do too!
i will most definitely post pictures as SOON as i get it! we've been emailing just about every other day,if not everyday working on ideas,colors,ect. im so excited and cannot wait to get it!
last thurs she actually had a good idea-she had me trace joeys hand,and my hand and send them to her-shes having them embroidered somewhere on the back,i thought that was SUPER cute. shes also using some of his ACUs and maybe nametapes somewhere on there too :)

i am SO excited right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my quilt is FINALLY DONE! she just sent me pics! shes shipping it out tomorrow i think! wooo hoooooooooo!!!!!!!
(the ACUs are his from his first tour in Iraq-and the hand tracings? she had me do those the night before he left and we mailed em to her the next day!)

OMG kelly that turned out amazing!!! i want one!!!!!!!! my grandma made one for my cuz with all of the pictures he used to draw, and it turned out cool....and now i want one! im gonna have to tell my mom about it and see if we could get it :P lol

i know i LOVE it! :) i freak out when the dog jumps on it lol i dont want dog hair all over it bc i dont wanna wash it unless i HAVE to! she really did a great job, i highly recomend her, she was alot of fun to work with!

**update** i ended up storing it until we got our house because i was way too paranoid about it getting messed up!

it is now hanging on the wall in our dining room on a quilt hanger :)
