I got this in an email from my SIL today and it's so darn cute I had to share!!

Kaitie is my niece, Liz is Mike's cousin, and I of course am Aunt Mere-Mere which I love cause my brother's called me Mere-Mere growing up. The first time she called me it I couldn't believe it!

A conversation with Kaitie:

Kaitie came in wearing the necklace Cousin Lizzy gave to her at the wedding.

"mommy, you see my necklace?"

"yes, Kaitie, it's beautiful"

"Yeah, it is beautiful. Lizzy got it for me."

"She did? That was nice!"

"Yeah, she gave me it at the castle."
"What castle?"

"Aunt Mere-Mere's Castle. She was a princess. She had a party at her castle. I dance wif lizzy and gramma and Mere-Mere at the castle."

Me laughing. "yes, yes you did"


ahhh I miss my little munchkins!! I wish we lived closer to them!!

lol I surely felt like one but its so cute she thinks I was one. Man let me tell you she was close to stealing the show!! I think there's a picture of us from the wedding in my album but if not I'll make sure I put one in there. She's so darn cute!!

She's just about 3 1/2 and lives in Vermont with her little brother Ty whose 1 1/2 and I miss them tons. But I refuse to move to Vermont when we move back East but hopefully being closer than 3000 miles will be easier to get to see them once in awhile :)
