pregnancy and your period

is it possible to have it while you're pregnant, in the begining?
any of you ladies with kiddos have this problem? anyone else ever heard of it happening?

I personally didn't but I know of people who had normal periods the first few months of their pregnancies. I don't remember why or anything like that and they never took a test cuz they had no reason to!

I had my period the first four months of pregnancy and they tell me it is normal and happens a lot.

I personally haven't had one, but like what the other ladies said it IS normal. There's a lot of sites you can google that actually explain it.

i had a period with kayla for like a month...because my birthcontrol. i just decided on a whim to take a pregnancy test with her because i had drank the night before and i just didnt feel good while i was drinking...and i was pregnant. after that though i didnt have a period any more.

this is all very frustrating. i apologize for TMI here. i have an IUD (and i didnt notice it fall out or anything), and i am getting my period pretty regularly since hubby deployed, but i am having all the symptoms of pregnancy. i took a home test and it was neg. i need to go to the doctor i guess.

I bled a little when I was pregnant the first month. It wasn't like a regular period but i spotted. It stopped after the first month though.

You are not the only one! I have an IUD also. I have been feeling pregnant and I SWEAR I feel movement. It might be in my head, but I seriously doubt it! I have 2 kids... I remember the feeling! Every pregnancy test is neg and I continue to have my period. My dr did a blood pregnancy test about 2 months ago and it too was neg. I swear to you... I have a belly, but it seems to be getting bigger, and not fat, fat rolls around the sides... this is all in the front of my gut! I swear... I feel pregnant and crazy!

I still haven't tested positive on an at home pregnancy test. I am four and a half months in. But after a month I tested positive on a blood test!

OMG it can totally happen!!!!!!!! Its not a "real period" its spotting lol. Buttt I was working the ER once, and a girl came in freaking out, turns out she was 9 months preggo and DIDNT know. In a year she had gained 10 lbs with the baby, and had her period the ENTIRE time she was preggo! buttt i would talk to your DR about it. Some women do get spotting and breakthrough bleeding that seems liek a period, but talk to the dr!

I knew a girl like that... but she was on the heavier side.... she had really bad cramps and went to the hospital and found out she was in labor!
