Hey there,

My name is Nuky and I am an Army wife and SAHM. We are stationed at Fort Knox. We have two children; 13-year-old boy (yes he is quite the handful) and an 11-year-old daughter (which is coming into her own). They are great kids for the most part. Right now my husband is at BNCOC in Missouri. He will be leaving for Afghanistan less than a month after he gets home. This will be our third deployment. The other ones have been tough, but managable. This time will be very different though, because it will just be me and the kids. Before I have had his parents and friends. I don't want to say I am a hermit or anything, but I do not go out much unless it has to do with the kids. I am not a "drama momma", but I do have my days when I just need someone to kick me in the butt and tell me to get over it (or of course those days when I just need a friendly ear). Unfortunately, it is usually the first one LOL. Good supportive groups are hard to find.

Sorry for rambling. Anyway, I hope to get to know you all soon.

I'm Meredith. I'm a 23 year-old part time house wife/part time athletic trainer. I work at a local high school as an athletic trainer and provide athletic healthcare for the kids. I've been married to my soldier since July when he got home from his 3rd deployment (my first) and I must agree that while deployment is managable it is still hard...I myself became a bit of a hermit and needed my friends to drag me out once in awhile too! I did spend a lot of my time here with the MTMH ladies they are definitely a supportive and helpful group!!

I'm Spahr I'm 20 and my boyfriend Charlie is 21 in 5 days (not that he's counting lol). He is currently in the process of enlisting in the army and we are expecting our first little rugrat in July.
