Fort Jackson?

Has anyone been here or know anything about it? This is where my sister is going for her training I believe.

That's where Matt went for BCT and most of my friends.
I've been there once for his graduation. It's a big base and it's mostly used for training.
She won't see much of the base during BCT though. When she graduates she'll be allowed to go the the PX/Commissary but not until then.

Awww it'll be fine. SHe's going to get yelled at alot but tell her not to take it to heart. The graduation ceremony is awesome down there and the day before you also have family day which is nice.

LAXIN JACKSON!!!! My friend went there for basic SHE graduated then went to Fort Sam Huston for her medical AIT stuff. SHe LOVED jackson though. Said girls got really spoiled there. I know JM couldnt get anything at fort knox but letters at basic and 1 phone call a week, my friend could get packages with anything in them when she went this past year at jackson and got like 2 or 3 calls a week. But I think it all depends... but she will like it. Jackson is way better than fort lost in the woods for females going to basic!
