Hey. My name is Courtney. I am married to Tim. He just enlisted in the army and will leave for Ft Jackson on March 25th. We have a 14 month old girl Emma Grace. I am still working as a bookkeeper for now until Tim gets done with BCT. I am really nervous and really don't want him to leave. I don't know how to be with out him. I haven't ever spent more than a day without him. I'm really glad my sister-in-law turned me onto this site. It'll be nice to have the support. But for now I am just enjoying every second with my family.

I'm Meredith, 23, married to my soldier Mike since July when he got home from Iraq. We're currently stationed at Ft Lewis, WA. (I'm originally from NJ) I'm an athletic trainer at a local high school.

Good byes are hard but you can do it!! I know it doesn't seem like it now but the time will fly by and the next thing you know you'll be talking about AIT and his assignment after that!

I'm Mary, 20 and engaged to my high school sweetheart Matt. He's currently in the middle of our first deployment. We're getting married on R&R this spring on our 4 year anniversary :) Our duty station is Fort Wainwright, AK and we'll be heading there after the deployment is over. No children yet. For now I'm at home in NJ working and saving up to go back to college.

It's a scary thing when our men join the military and I was the same way. I'd spent almost every day with Matt for 2 years when he left for BCT. I was so nervous and I didnt' really want him to leave but I am SOOO happy he did it. Even though it stinks to be away from your man, it's totally worth it. THe military can do wonders for your life. We'll help you through everything hun :bighug:

I'm Danielle, I go by Danie, and I'm old... 28 ... I've been married to my sailor for 7 years. We have 2 children, Colton(3) and Kennedy(8 months). I used to be in the Navy myself, and recently got out after serving 8 years. We've moved to Pensacola Florida and are starting over. I'm now a SAHM and love it, most days.

I am Samme and my hubby has been in the Army for 15 years. I was in Basic in Fort Jackson. It was tough, but well worth it. The time will fly by.
